Why did he have to be so attractive? Euron Greyjoy was brash, loud, crude, and a downright jerk and bully. But he was so darn attractive. That was why you refused to meet his gaze as he pled his case in front of you. "Forgive me, but my answer is no," you replied, getting up and moving to leave the room. You knew he had a hidden agenda and you wanted nothing to do with it. You left the room, your heart thumping so hard, you swore everyone could hear it.

When Euron Greyjoy had arrived in your castle, you hadn't expected him to immediately come to you to propose marriage. However, you were certain he wasn't expecting your refusal either. That much was made cleared when you heard his voice behind you once again. "My lady, surely you understand what an alliance between our two houses would mean for the realm." You rolled your eyes and turned back to him.

You jumped when you realized how close he was to you. You could feel his breath on your face and the warmth from his body. You fought to keep a straight face. You wanted him and you knew it, but you weren't going to give him the satisfaction. You took a step back and cleared your throat. "I know precisely what you want, Lord Greyjoy. Everyone knows Cersei Lannister needs an army with Daenerys Targaryen coming to Westeros and you think that I will give you mine through marriage. My answer is no."

You turned to walk away again, but he caught your wrist. He pulled you back toward him before turning and pushing you against the wall. "Why, darling? Don't you know how much fun we could have?" You scoffed and pushed him away. "I will not marry you." Your heart was thumping again, but you kept your composure. Pushing him further, you left the confined space and hurried to your chambers where you could breathe properly and calm yourself down.

As you sat in your chambers, you cursed yourself for being so attracted to that man. He should have made your skin crawl, like he did with almost everyone else. Then again, you'd always been a little different when it came to men. You wanted him in your bed, there was no denying that, but you would not marry a man like that. Hopefully he'd get the message.

He didn't. The next morning, he was attached to your side, despite your protests. You weren't sure exactly what he was trying to do, but it started to irk your nerves. So, you decided a little revenge was in order. A little tit for tat and perhaps a way for you to get out your frustrations. You smirked to yourself at the thought.

Throughout the rest of the day, you put your plan into action. Little touches, flirty eyes, and playful smirks were granted to Euron. You could tell he was confused about the change in your demeanor and that pleased you to no end. However, as the day went on, you could also tell that it was starting to get to him, driving him crazy.

That afternoon, you finally got a chance to be away from Euron, so you decided to make your way to the library to read. You didn't make it far before you felt your back hit the wall once again. You smirked when you saw Euron in front of you. "Something wrong?" He arched a brow. "You know very well." You smirked and pushed off the wall a little, grabbing his arms in the process. Surprising him, you spun so it was his back pressed against the wall. "You know how to fix it then."

Euron stared at you for a moment before he spoke again. "I think you want this as badly as I do, Y/N." Your smirk dropped and Euron's grew. He had you. "I think I have an arrangement that will suit the both of us. Say you'll marry me and I'll give you anything you want." You arched a brow. "Anything?" Euron nodded. "You in my bed?" Another nod. "The Iron Throne?" Euron started to nod and then stopped, realizing what you had said.

"Marry me and I will give you the Iron Throne if that's what you want." You smiled. "I don't. I just wanted to see how serious you are about this." You pulled away from him, allowing him to get off the wall. You took his hand in yours and started in the opposite direction. "Where are we going?" You glanced back at him with a slight upturn of your lips. "My chambers. I'm going to show my husband-to-be exactly what I want."
