Chapter 59

Everyone had returned to the Thana and they were interrogating Aamir and Raju inside the lock-up, to get any clue about the child trafficking case. Both were in a miserable state but were still not revealing the truth.

Karishma asked in a stern tone "Bako ab kiske liye kaam karte ho tumlog. Hamara dimaag dubara ghum gaya na toh bata rahe hain apne pairon pe chalne layak nahi chhorenge."

Other MPT members were silently staring at their senior getting pissed off with this endless questioning session.

Haseena said in a calm tone, showing her palm "Karishma Singh, hum baat kar rahe hain na. Aur tumlog, hamare paas kayi saboot hai ye batane ke liye ki tumlog bacchon ke apharan me shaamil ho. To sach sach batao sab kuch."

Aamir replied adamantly "Madam, humne bhi kitni baar kaha na ki humara iss sab se koi lena dena nahi hai. Aaplog yeh thik nahi kar rahe."

Raju said in a warning tone "Zabardasti mat kariye hamare sath, humein jane dijiye, warna iss Thane aur aaplogon ke ke liye acha nahi hoga."

Karishma slapped him hard and said in anger "Thane me baith ke humein hi dhamka rahe ho be, zindagi se sambandh kharab ho gye hain kya tumhare."

Raju said with an evil smile, holding his jaw in pain " Karishma Madam, hum toh kuch bhi batane se rahe, aap kitna bhi maar lijiye. Aur waise bhi kuch der me hamare boss yaha se nikal lenge humko."

He shared a smile with Aamir and Aamir said with a smirk "Aap kyu mehnat kar rahi hain madam. Hum log muh nahi kholenge."

Karishma was about to slap him but Haseena ordered in a strict tone "Karishma Singh.."

Before she could complete, a person spoke in a heavy voice drawing their attention towards him "Thik hi to keh rahe hai wo log."

All turned towards the entrance and found Nadeem Khan and his advocate standing there with a few bodyguards. Everyone was shocked seeing her outside as he was arrested that day.

As Haseena saw his face she fumed in anger and Karishma's injured state flashed in front of her eyes. She walked outside the lock up with an infuriated mind. Karishma looked once at him with confusion and then followed Haseena, knowing that Haseena's anger must be on its peak.

He walked inside with a smirk and stood in front of them and said "Kaisi ho bhanji?"

Haseena clenched her jaw in anger & said "Tum bahar kaise aaye Nadeem Khan."

Nadeem started to laugh mockingly at her while Karishma and other MPT members shared a tensed look with each other.

Nadeem - "Bhanji, badi bholi ho tum. Tumhein sach me lagta hai ki hum jyada dinon tak jail me reh sakte hain. To murder kar ke bhi bahar ghum rahe hain. Kya hai ki tumhare kaanoon me bade loop holes hain."

Haseena looked at him with disgust and anger. Nadeem glanced at Karishma who was standing just beside Haseena. He moved near her and stood in front of her.

Karishma straightened herself and looked into his eyes with confidence. Haseena became a bit alert & concerned but didn't show it on her face and started to stare at him cautiously.

Nadeem smirked and asked "Arey Daroga ji, aap to badi ziddi nikli, humein laga tha woh ek Goli kaafi hogi aapke liye."

Haseena closed her eyes and tightened her fist to prevent herself from losing her temper in Thana.

Cheeta and Raj were also not in the mood to let him speak further. They wanted to kick him out of the Thana, but Pushpa ji and Santu somehow signalled them to stay quiet.

Karishma looked once at Haseena's face which was flushed with anger and then replied in a firm tone "Tum yaha kyu aaye ho, mudde par aao, idhar udhar ki baat mat karo."

The lawyer interrupted their heated conversation and forwarded some papers towards them. Santu took and said after reading "Madam ye unlogo ki anticipatory bail ke papers hain. Humein inhein chhorna hoga."

Haseena looked at her in shock and took the papers from her hands and read it herself. She shared a disappointed look with her teammates and then glared at Nadeem with a displeased expression. She gestured Rajvir to release them. Raju and Aamir gave a winning smile to all of them.

Nadeem smiled proudly while Karishma said in an irked tone, gritting her teeth "Aisa koi galat kaam hai jo tum nahi karte. Ab ye child trafficking me bhi involved ho tum."

Nadeem took a step towards her with a smile and said "Waise acha hi hua tum zinda bach gayi. Iss baar apne janaze ki intezam khud hi kar ke jana. Suna hai ki Anath logon ko koi rone ya kandha dene wala tak nahi milta unke janaze par."

This was the end of Haseena's patience, her body trembled with outrage and she slapped him tightly on his face, making him stumble over the table. She shouted in a loud tone "Nadeem Khan, ek aur shabd bhi kaha na, toh hum bhul jayenge ki tumhara hamara koi rishta bhi hai."

Nadeem said with a hollow chuckle "Jiske janaze me baare me suna nahi ja raha woh nazara jab dekhogi toh kya hoga meri bhanji."

She walked towards him in rage when Karishma and Santu held her from behind saying "Madam sir..madam sir!"

She grabbed his collar in anger and shouted "Cheeta, Rajvir iss aadmi ko hamari nazron se door kar do, warna aaj kuch galat ho jayega hamare haathon se."

Rajvir grabbed his arm while Cheeta started to push the other men outside the thana. Nadeem glared at Haseena in anger and warned "Iss ladki ke liye tune do baar haath uthaya hai na bhanji mujh par. Iss case se door raho tumlog warna yaad rakhna iss baar aisa khaufnaak hashra hoga iska, ki laash bhi nhi milegi iski tumko maatam manane ke liye."

Haseena leaped towards him in sheer anger but Karishma quickly held her back and he was pushed out of the thana by Raj and cheeta.

Pushpa ji said in an irked tone "Kaisa ghatiya aadmi hai ye. Madam sir aap shaant ho jayiye, uski bakwas par dhyan mat dijiye."

Karishma signals Santu and she quickly brings a glass of water for Haseena. Haseena rubbed her face with her palm to calm herself down and sipped some water from the glass.

Then Haseena said after composing herself "Humein jald se jald iss racket ka pardafaash karna hoga. Humein pura yakeen hai ki Nadeem ke sar par kisi strong insaan ka hath hai, tabhi ye itne overconfidence me jee raha hai. Woh insaan hamari aur Nadeem ki dushmani ka fayda utha kar humein iss case se distract karna chahta hai. Aur ab hum log bhi saboot aur gawah ke peeche nahi bhagenge."

She looked at Karishma once with a serious face. Karishma understood her plan and said completing her sentence "Inhe range haathon giraftar karenge."

Haseena nodded with a confident smile and said "Team MPT tayyar ho jayiye. Ab waqt aa gaya hai Lucknow ko child trafficking se aazad karne ka. Santu, Rajvir aur Cheeta aap log bille ke sath Jake har possible thikane ka pata lagayiye jaha baccho ko rakha jata hai unhe bahar bhejne se pehle. Aur pata kijiye unka yeh boss kab aata hai waha. Nadeem Khan par kadi nazar rakhiye. Aur jaise hi koi update mile humein inform kariye. Ab hum direct raid karenge aur inhe jad se khatam kar denge. Clear team"

All said in unison with a firm tone "yes madam sir."

Everyone gets back to their work as instructed by Haseena. And Haseena went inside her cabin with an expressionless face. Karishma noticed that but didn't spoke anything for the time being.
