4 weeks later

Alastor was observing you as you practised your strikes on the dummies that resembled the exorcist angels.

With practised ease, you wielded the angelic spear, demonstrating a mastery of the weapon that spoke of extensive experience and expertise.

You sensed a presence observing you as your eyes locked with his, revealing a contrast between your golden irises and his crimson ones. You gave him a soft smile before looking over to Charlie, who gave the little psycho cleaner a knife.

"Here, if you see an angel stab 'em" Charlie said, passing Nifty a knife.

She charged at Angel as he screamed, jumping on a pole wrapping himself around it. "Not that angel!" Charlie yelled quickly, stopping the cyclops.

She turned to you with the knife raised and started charging. "Stab!!!" She cackled.

As she got closer, she was picked up by the back of her top as she hung low her limbs hanging down with the knife dangling out her hand. "Not that angel either, my deary. She's our friend." Alastor said as Nifty blinked at you a couple of times.

"Okay!"

Alastor put her down as she ran off to find one of the dummies to stab instead.

"I nearly had a close encounter with a 4 ft cyclops," you said jokingly, causing Alastor to chuckle in amusement. "Ah, she's practically harmless." He said, shooing off her blood lust to kill.

"Sure..." You hesitantly agreed.

As Alastor briefly stared at you with a raised eyebrow, he couldn't help but smile softly at you.

Later that day

After Charlie speech, everyone, including the cannibals were having a drink before tomorrow big day.

You and Alastor made the wise decision to refrain from drinking and instead chose to observe everyone from a higher vantage point. Nifty was seated on the balcony, playfully swinging her legs back and forth.

You stood there, sighing, as you watched over the crew in preparation for your upcoming battle with the exorcist tomorrow.

"Ah, the celebratory night before a courageous last stand. It's been a surprising thrill to witness these wayward soul find connections. Almost makes one sentimental. A Nifty?" Alastor sighed, leaning on the balcony.

"I really like them, Alastor
They let me put on roach puppet shows without bullying!" Nifty excitedly said, feeling accepted.

"Ahh, an enjoyable collective to be around. I admit. One could get accustomed."

Nifty jumped on his shoulders to put a crown mad out of roaches for him.

"I dub thee King Roach."

"Oh, to understand your twisted little mind." As they broke out into a psychotic laugh together.

Nifty then jumped down like a speed of light running off.

"It appears that she has accepted you as a father figure." You chuckled as Alastor looked at you with one eyebrow raised.

"Oh? And what makes you say that?" Alastor asked, pulling you closer to him with his hands resting on your hips.

"She has confidence in you, Al. She feels a sense of belonging here. After all, you were the one who introduced her to this place." You clarified.

While you were about to kiss him, you felt something fall on your head. Nifty was on your shoulders. "And I dub thee Queen Roach!" She laughed and ran away.
