The cold breeze flew as snowflakes fell below. The winter was harsh and bitter as snow covered the ground. A little female mammoth was out alone, searching for her family. Cold and alone, she called out for her family but no one was heard. The snow made her furry body freeze or else. The snowstorm seemed to be picking up the pace. She needed a warm place. There, she found a willow tree covered with snow like a cave. She looked inside the tree. It seemed quite nice there. She walked slowly to the tree's trunks and curled up sadly, hoping that something would happen.. But then a rustle in the snow leaves appeared out of nowhere. The mammoth looked up and saw that it appeared to be a female Possum. She was hanging upside down smiling kindly. Two small baby possums poked their heads from behind. The baby mammoth stood up and smiled. It seems that she wasn't alone after all. Being adopted, the tiny mammoth became part of the possum family.
