"Innie, I should probably go home now," Chan said looking at the time on his phone and stood up from his spot next to Jeongin on the couch where they had been talking to each other and listening to music for the past hour or two.

Jeongin pouted to himself. He didn't want Chan to leave yet, he missed him in the few days that they weren't speaking to each other. He knew Chan didn't mean what he said about him being annoying but he still couldn't help but be a little self cautious about how clingy he was being.

Even though he wanted to ask Chan to stay longer he was scared to and he knew Chan probably had work-related things to do so he didn't want to risk asking him then have Chan overwork himself to finish something last minute.

Chan, on the other hand, wanted to stay longer as well but wasn't sure if he should because of their...argument? (that's not the right word to use but oh well). Since he had never been in a relationship before he wasn't exactly sure what was supposed to happen afterward.

They seemed fine with each other but he wasn't sure if he was supposed to just act like nothing ever happened or not. He wanted to but he also didn't want to do anything that would make Jeongin uncomfortable and them go back to not talking.

They were now both awkwardly standing at the door, neither really wanting to say bye to each other yet.

"I missed you a lot," Jeongin said, finally breaking the awkward silence as he hugged Chan "I'm sorry for overreacting about everything."

Chan gently kissed the younger's forehead "stop apologizing. I'm the one that went behind your back and got mad at you for no reason. I'm sorry."

Jeongin moved away from the hug a bit and carefully kissed the side of Chan's face where the bruise was "You shouldn't apologize either, It makes sense why you didn't want to tell me now."

"What exactly did Felix tell you Innie?" Chan questioned.

"Did you get the restraining order behind my back because you were worried I wouldn't want you to?"

"I- I mean...kind of...but I just wanted to make su-"

"Channie, to be completely honest, I thought about going back to Chinhae after you got annoyed by me but it wasn't going to be because I wanted him or because I still love him. I just didn't want to bother you or Seungmin or anyone else but anyway, that's not the point. I do not love Chinhae anymore. I love you."

"I'm sorry that I made you feel like that." Chan apologized but was surprised when he felt Jeongin's lips on his for a split second.

"Stop apologizing" Jeongin mocked with a small smile that Chan couldn't help but smile back at.

"You're so pretty" Chan blurted out, causing Jeongin to blush from the sudden compliment.

"Y-you should probably go home now I guess," Jeongin said, not having a response to the compliment, or at least not having one that Chan would've been happy to hear.

"Don't you miss Berry too though?" Chan asked, forgetting about his worries of rushing things back to how they were. If Jeongin missed him and he missed Jeongin, why should they say goodbye so soon? It was pretty obvious that both of them were stalling.

"Of course I do, why?"

"Come with me. So you can see Berry."

"Okay but I'm only going to see Berry." Jeongin joked, before quickly taking it back after he remembered his and Felix's conversation. Even if he was joking, and if it was just about Berry and not an actual human he shouldn't joke about stuff like that. "I'm joking, I didn't really want you to leave yet either."

"Where are you going?" Chan asked as Jeongin started walking away from the door.

"To get clothes. It's late. Or are you planning on driving me back here later?"

"You can wear some of my clothes," Chan said, pulling his hand back towards him as he opened the door.

"Why would I when I can just grab some of mine right now?"

"Because you look cute in my hoodies."

"Just know that you probably won't get it back for a while then."

"I'm fine with that." Chan smiled.

Once they got to Chan's house Berry immediately ran over to Jeongin who sat down on the floor and said hi to her.

"She missed you." Chan smiled at the cute site in front of him.

"Of course she did. This is why you should let me steal her."

"Just move in and you'll get to see her every day" Chan joked.

"Just let me steal her and I'll get to see her every day."

Chan just laughed it off then got distracted by his phone which began blowing up with text messages.

"Who's texting you so much?" Jeongin questioned as he stood up and looked over at Chan who rolled his eyes.

"Hyunjin being his overdramatic self."

"What's happening?"

"He's sad because Changbin said he was too busy to hang out with him so he wants to come here."

"Is he coming over?"

"He wants to come over but I kinda want him to realize why Changbin doesn't want to hang out with him on his own."

"Why doesn't Changbin want to hang out with him?"

"You can't tell? Changbin likes him but Hyunjin either somehow does not notice or is just really good at ignoring it."

"Aww, poor Changbin. You should invite Hyunjin over. Have you ever directly asked him if he likes Changbin?"

"No, but I don't think Changbin wou- and Hyunjin is here" Chan sighed as he opened the door.

"Chan I think Changbin hates me and I don't know what I did but- Jeonginnie! hi!" Hyunjin said as he got distracted and gave Jeongin a hug.

Jeongin laughed awkwardly, noticing how Chan looked mad just from the smallest interaction.

"Hello" Jeongin responded as he removed Hyunjin's arms from around him, causing Hyunjin to pout.

"What happened between you and Changbin?" Chan asked.

"I don't know, we were hanging out at a cafe a couple of days ago and I was talking to the waiter because he seemed nice and stuff then Changbin suddenly got up and left and now he's saying he's busy and refuses to hang out with me."

"Were you flirting with the waiter?"

"Uhh I guess it could have been seen as flirting" Hyunjin mumbled, "but why would he ignore me for days because of that?"

"Hyunjin, he probably felt like he was third-wheeling," Chan explained briefly.

"That doesn't explain him ignoring me."

"Hyunjin, do you like anyone?" Jeongin asked

Hyunjin thought about it for a second before responding...
