ARIYAH POV:

I was in the basement. I was looking at Amir knocked out.

A memory flashed through my head.

Flashback

"Stop worrying you'll be fine" he said to me opening the door.

I looked at him with fear.

"I'm serious I won't hurt you" he said with a warm smile.

I slowly walked through the door.

We walked down the hall and I noticed I didn't see no one.

We walked out the trap and I seen the sun light.

The warmth of the sun touch my exposed skin.

"Come on before someone sees you" he said grabbing my hand.

My bare feet slapped on the cold pavement as I was being pulled by him.

We got in his car.

I've been in this trap for weeks. I didn't see my family or nothing. This the first time outside in since I got here. Joshua told my mom I was at some damn camp which was a lie. I don't know how my mom believed him. She knows I'm a home body.

I looked at my thigh and arms and seen the bruises and cuts.

"Your going to be fine" Amir said pulling off the trap.

I don't know why I was trusting him. He was driving away from the trap and my heart filled with happiness. Maybe that's why I was willing to trust him because he's taking me away from this cruel place.

End of flashback

I bit my bottom lip and shook my head.

His head start to move. I watched as he started to wake up.

"Shit" he groaned.

"Don't like being drugged huh" I said and my voice came out harsh.

He laughed a little.

"Hello Ari long time no see" he said looking at me.

I was tapping my gun on the chair leg.

"I'm positive Lace ain't teach you to hesitate when shooting someone so what was that" he chuckled again.

I just looked at him. My hatred for  him was bigger than my hatred for Joshua which I didn't think was possible but then again they was very close.

"Little Ari quiet" he said tilting his head.

My teeth started to grind. Every time I tried to put a bullet in his head while he was sleeping my hand started to shake. I hesitated and I don't know why.

I sighed and got up.

"Wait Ari you still got that mark" he said looking at my arm.

I covered it and walked to the door. I knocked on it and the door opened. There was no door handle or lock on the inside so people can't get out without someone opening it. I closed it.
