Not Like That

LUCAS POV:

I put my phone away and walked into Ariyah office.

"You get what I'm saying" Ak said to her.

"Yea" she said.

"Aye Ariyah can I ask you about the east si-" Keith walked in but shut up once he see what was going on.

"I'll just come back later" Keith said about to walk out as well as me.

"Nah what's up" she said looking at him.

"Nah it's cool your busy" Keith said.

"Nah Ak was just tell me something but what about the east side" she said knowing he was going to say the east side.

"Well I noticed no one sell over there so I was seeing if we could get a few niggas over there" Keith said.

She closed her eyes I'm guessing to thinking.

"Yea but I'll tell you when I have to make sure of something first" she said not because specific on what that something was.

Keith gave her a nod then walked out.

"Not something you can control" Ak said getting up from his seat.

"Sadly" she said rubbing her forehead.

Ak walked out. I sat down in front of her desk.

"What's wrong" I asked her.

"Just-" she stopped then looked at me.

"Nothing" she said.

"You sure you don't want to talk about it" I asked her.

She was about to say something but she hesitated like she was afraid to tell me.

Right when she made up her mind and was about to say something her phone rung.

She answered it without looking at the caller ID.

"Hello" she said.

She cleared her throat.

"I will" she said.

"I know 4 a'clock I'll be there stop worrying" she said with a little laugh.

"Ok bye" she said then hung up.

She looked at the time.

"I have to go" she said getting up.

I got up as well.

"Where are you going" I said looking at her.

She put her jacket on.

"To handle something then meet up with Aaron" she said fixing her shirt.

"You and him talk or something" I asked without hesitation.

"Nope I'm not relationship person he's my project partner" she said grabbing her book bag.

"Why not" I asked her.

"I don't know I barely do friendships" she said with a shrug.

We walked out her office and she locked the door.

"You kissed that guy at the park though" I said to her.

"We are not dating or nothing just a kiss that just happened" she said with a shrug.
