Dani's POV

"My family vacation just got way more fun, you look really good gray"

"So do you"

"Really I hate my hair" she said stroking through it

"You know it's perfect" what the hell, I feel so invisible, did I like disappear or something

"Um, hi, I'm Dani"

"Oh, Dani this is Kristen, Kristen this is Dani" gray casually introdued her to me acting as if nothing happened

"Nice to meet you"

"You too Kristen, so you guys dated"

"Yea" she said

"No" gray said at the same time looking really uncomfortbale

"We were in 9th grade, we were lab partners for the whole year, then we got closer so he took me to a movie to ask me out, then he did the whole arm over my shoulder move, he had his first kiss with me, and we were together till the end of 10th grad, when he decided to do online school and move out to LA" I just gave her the biggest fake smile ever

"Um, you know how it is, when your younger" no it was practically a year before we met, my mind was saying "and when you like a girl, you make her your girlfriend" I just nodded

"So I'm heading back to the ship if you guys want to join" before gray could say anything I jumped in

"No it's fine, we're gonna stick around for a little bit"

"Suit yourself, your very lucky to have him, bye" she chirped

"Bye" she walked away

I didn't realize I was still holding onto his hand, I let go and started walking back to our stuff, to pack up.

"Hey Dani hold up" he ran and sat down on the towel

"What"

"What is with you"

"You dated her for a couple years, I didn't know you were the guy that would move onto someone really fast, I mean a couple months after her you started with Melissa, then you came to me, then back to Melissa, then you went after Meredith, and now your here with me again"

"No, it's not like that, she--"

"She what, she said she was your first love, I thought you said I was"

"No Dani, we were younger back then, we didn't know wat love was, honestly it was probably just a joke that relationship"

"You sure, cuz Gray I don't want to go back to old time I really want this to work"

"I'm positive, don't worry it will Dani, btw did I tell you that I started mixing music"

"Really like a dj"

"Yeah, and I can't wait fo you to hear it, it'll be fire you'll be the first one to hear it, I promise" he leaned down and brought his lips to mine, I kissed him back and it felt as if the entire world froze and it was only the two of us.

"Hey I'm gonna go to the cafe and grab a coffe k"

"Yeah sure, bye" He walked into the shower, we came back and took a nap and I'm craving coffee so I changed into a pink romper.

I walked into the cafe and ordered an iced coffee and went to sit down, what if he still likes her, but since he's with me, he might not, ugh I'm so confused

"hey you look like your in deep thought" nate said sitting infront of me

"Yeah I kinda am"

"Why what happened, you were so jumpy to go out on the beach"
