Thank you @riptide2406 for the "Lover" song prompt!!!!

When Annabeth woke up, she actually felt energized.

    It was an odd feeling.

But, she intended to soak it up because today would be a good day for a while.

    And, boy, was she right.

As it turned out, she'd woken up 10 minutes before her alarm went off, allowing her to get up and actually do her makeup. She didn't have the time for anything crazy, just two layers of foundation, blush, and mascara. She didn't have the time to spend an hour trying to perfect her liner.

And when she checked the weather, it was going to be in the 40s.

The thought made Annabeth want to cry, but her mascara hadn't set yet.

It was when she saw that her dad had already left that morning when she decided...

Today was a Taylor Swift day.

Not just any Taylor Swift day, it was a Lover day.

This was a rare day, and Annabeth's Swiftie heart bursts during these occurrences.

The album finished by the time Annabeth got to second period.

Unfortunately, Hoffman was here today, and he came prepared with a series of worksheets. Upon further inspection of the pages, there was one for each chapter.

    There were 18 chapters.

All of which were due by Friday.

When she saw just how much she had to do, she closed the album. She was going to need a serious serotonin booster.

She put Lover on repeat after she finished Cruel Summer.

She quietly hummed along to the song, slowly working her way through the "Forces, Newton's Laws, Work, and Energy" unit, starting with the chapter titled "What is Force?"

Annabeth scowled at the book. They'd gone over this piece of information millions of times, so she wanted to skip it. But, this chapter was noticeably longer than the rest she had encountered on the subject.

Thankfully, her books were printed in Comic Sans, though she didn't know how. So, she was grateful for the spacing between the words. It made reading that much easier for her.

She turned her attention to her song, letting the lyrics of a romantic fantasy seep into her.

We could leave the Christmas lights up 'til January
And this is our place, we make the rules
And there's a dazzling haze, a mysterious way about you dear
Have I known you 20 seconds or 20 years?

Can I go where you go?
Can we always be this close forever and ever?
And ah, take me out, and take me home
You're my, my, my, my
Lover

We could let our friends crash in the living room
This is our place, we make the call
And I'm highly suspicious that everyone who sees you wants you
I've loved you three summers now, honey, but I want 'em all

Can I go where you go?
Can we always be this close forever and ever?
And ah, take me out, and take me home (forever and ever)
You're my, my, my, my
Lover

Ladies and gentlemen, will you please stand?
With every guitar string scar on my hand
I take this magnetic force of a man to be my lover
My heart's been borrowed and yours has been blue
All's well that ends well to end up with you
Swear to be overdramatic and true to my lover
And you'll save all your dirtiest jokes for me
And at every table, I'll save you a seat, lover
