Kill POV:

As expected, P'Mae was against with my idea of enlisting to the training.

"It's really far Kill and the idea of you not going home for two years is already freaking me out," P'Mae worriedly said.

"What if something something bad gonna happen to you?" she added.

"P'Mae I will be fine. I am no longer a baby. I can take care of myself already," I said.

"Mae, I will visit Quebec too every three months to monitor their progress. Kill will be fine," Frank said and tousled my hair.

"Just call me as much as possible," she pleaded.

"I will." I lied and embraced her tightly.

The fact is, for the whole two years we are not allowed to go home and no communication to and from the outside which includes social media, mails, and emails.

I spent my remaining two days in Edmonton by talking with my best friends in Thailand, roaming around Edmonton visiting my usual spot when I felt down and nearly giving up, and packing all the needed stuff for the training.

Training Camp

I took an almost 5-hour flight from Edmonton to Saint-Jean Airport in Richelieu and was picked up by a private car going to the training camp. It was already past 2PM when we finally reached the entrance of the camp. Before entering the camp, I saw a signage and silently read it.

"Garnison Saint-Jean Military Base."

Garnison Saint-Jean Military Base is a Canadian Military Base Camp where the government sent their recruits to hone their skills. Since Golden Eagle Security is a government-affiliated agency, Canada allows the agency to utilize its resources to train future agents that may serve the government too but they are being separated from the militaries.

When we finally reached a 10-story building, the two men told me to approach the front desk while they are unloading my stuff.

"Good afternoon, may I get your name please?" the beautiful young woman dressed in a semi-formal dress asked when I reached the front desk.

"Noah Johnson," I humbly replied with a shy smile.

"One of the rules that you must comply while you are on a training and while on the job in the future is to never disclose your personal information to anyone. Every bit of information you will receive from inside must be kept confidential," Brad strictly said.

"Understood!" I acknowledged.

"Good!"

"Here!" Brad handed a folder to me.

"It contains a list of names where you can choose from. The name you will select will be the name you will use in the entire duration of your contract."
