Months passed since the incident. In those months I stayed with Gevherhan Sultan in the Old Palace while my children were in the Topkapi Palace with Gonca and Yasmin.
The palace wasn't safe for me anymore that's why Gevherhan got me out after she stopped the crowd of girls burning my face. If she didn't come with Lalezar at the right time, they would have killed me.
"Does it hurt?" Lalezar Kalfa asked me as she put an ointment on the part of my face which was burned.

"A little." I flinched a bit.
"When will Hünkarım arrive?" she finished her task quickly and put it in the table and sat next to me.
"In a few minutes. Thank god he came with a victory. Gevherhan Sultan already left, we should leave too." I shook my head.
"We won't. Murad will come himself." she raised her eyebrows in confusion.
"Elmas Sultanım, please stop your plans. Isn't it time to end the war?" I gave her a glance.
"The war has just started Lalezar. And it will last long. If you don't believe in me you can change your side." she sighed.
"Never Sultanım." she smiled at me which I returned.
"Have you any news from the kids? How are they?" I leaned back and put a scarf on my face to cover up my bruises.
"They are fine Alhamdulallah. Gonca said they keep asking about you." she told me in a sad tone. My poor children were completely alone in that palace full of blood. I prayed day and night for their health. I wanted to visit them, but Gevherhan Sultan forbid it.
"Destur Sultan Murad Khan Hazretleri!" we both stood up quickly and bowed. The doors of my chamber where I was staying in the Old Palace opened and Murad walked in.
"Murad..." I started speaking with tears in my eyes. His face expression was more than worried.
"Elmas, who did this to you?" he came closer what made Lalezar bow and leave the room. He put his hands on the scarf on my face to remove it, but I stepped back.
"Don't." I cried out what made him pull me into a hug.
We stayed like this for a couple of minutes until he broke the hug.
"Let me remove it, my love." I sighed and nodded softly what made him remove the scarf and look at my burned face.
"Who did this to you?" he asked as he looked at every inch of my face.
"Kösem Sultan." I simply answered and his eyes widened. Of course he would be shocked at first and don't believe me.
"She did this Murad. She put the whole Harem against me, she gave them gold coins and ordered them to burn my face and worst of all she made me be separated from my children for more than five months." I told him the whole story.
