STAR Labs Jannuary 27, 2015
Cassie went back in time until January 27, 2015, the day of the fight against Hartley Rathaway AKA Pied Piper ... a day at the center of several time travels made by the Allen family:
The first time, Barry had gone back in time to get help from Thawne to go faster to beat Zoom
The second time, it was a coincidence, he and Nora during their time travel had met on that date to escape from Zoom, and had asked Thawne for help to complete their plan against Cicada.
The third time, it was this ...
The mission was the riskiest Cassie had ever faced.
When Barry and Nora had talked to Thawne he had devised a plan to use everything to his advantage ... so Cassie had devised a bombproof plan to avoid this inconvenience.
"Hi Thawne!" Cassie said as she entered the Time Vault
"Who are you girl ?! It doesn't matter, don't answer so you'll die! " Thawne said, accelerating into Flash time ready to hit Cassie with a vibrating hand.
Cassie laughed, and accelerating to hyper flash time, hit Thawne and knocked him to the ground
"How did you do it little girl? Nobody could do such a thing! "
"That's because it's your trick of the future!"
"One of my ... what?"
"Yes, I'm a student of yours!"
"For real? Why didn't you kill me when you had the chance !? " Thawne said trying to attack the young speedster again
"Stop doing these scenes!" Cassie said before knocking him out again
"How did you do!? I'm the best!"
"I am from the future idiot! As is normal for us speedster, we improve day by day ... in the future you will be extremely faster than me ... I just screwed up and I need your help "
"What you mean?"
"Barry Allen changed the timeline, rewriting our victory over him ... I tried to restore the correct timeline but I can't ..."
"What do you mean? We won?"
"The timeline has changed ... I knew this was the perfect time to ask for help without Team Flash getting suspicious of the temporal radiation."
"Why didn't you come to talk to me at another time?" Thawne said
"I couldn't ... I would have created a temporal paradox, you moved continuously in time to avoid being tracked ... I would have ended up meeting myself"
"The negative Speed Force? Why didn't you exploit it? You would have been protected from the changes!"
"You've upgraded it to the point where not even The Flash can stand up to you ... but you don't want to share the secret ... one of our allies turned against us, and revealed our plans ... since then you haven't revealed anything to anyone to us about your strength of speed! "
"How can I trust?"
"I could have killed you twice already" Cassie said speeding up to Thawne inserting her vibrating hand into his chest "Actually three" Cassie added before turning back
"How did you do?!?! We are still in Flash time!!!"
"Which part don't you understand?! Holy God, I thought you were a genius ... maybe I was wrong to talk to you!"
"Wait up!" Thawne said
"I see you understand!"
"What do you want to know?"
"How can I go about traveling across timelines?"
"You ask me a lot!"
"I saved your life 3 times!"
"You didn't save me!"
"I prevented you from dying! I didn't kill you any of the three times! I don't think I'll save you a fourth ... "
"Okay ... the Negative Speed Force protects you from changes in the timeline ... if you want you could survive even if you were erased from existence!
If you run fast enough you can break the space-time barrier, but if you do everything in a workmanlike manner you can safely travel through the various timelines ... "
"How should I travel through time in a workmanlike manner?"
"With this!" Thawne said, showing Cassie a red leather Journal "This contains the source code of the multiverse! Yes, the multiverse still exists, but ... it cannot be perceived in classical ways ... "
"What should I do with that Code?"
"With this you can understand the finer mechanisms of time travel ... you can understand how to change reality to your liking, even if I'm still working on the last one ..." Thawne said opening the diary and giving it to Cassie
"I will teach you everything that the other me has never taught you, together we will understand how to travel between timelines, and always together we will finally be able to understand how to change reality!" thawne said
"Yessss ... I don't think so!" Cassie said before erasing Thawne's memory and decelerating at normal speed
"Gideon!" Casssie yelled
"Yes, Dr. Snow-Allen?"
"Have there been any changes in the timeline?"
"Negative doctor!"
"Perfect! Clear all the logs relating to my meeting with Dr. Wells!"
"Done"
As soon as the records were cleared, Cassie ran off and returned to her time
