"Good morning sir. May I have a look at your passport."

"Sure."

The person at the airport checked my passport as I impatiently stood there to get into the flight to Raleigh.

"You may board the flight now, sir. Have a safe journey."

I took my passport from him and made my way to board the flight.

I still couldn't believe that I was finally going to meet Emily. But the thought that she wouldn't recognize me, hurt me a lot. I don't know if I'll be able to help her the way she did. Maybe I can bring back her memory if I show her the things she sent me and talk to her about us. I just hope that she gets better.

_________

2 hours and 30 minutes.

I am standing at the Raleigh,North Carolina airport now. Things seem so different yet so familiar. I must have been here before but I have no memories of it.

I collect my luggage, move out of the airport and look for a cab around. Luckily, I found one without putting in much efforts.

"Where do you want to go?"

"Umm.."

"Hurry up please. Tell me the destination?"

"Just a minute."

I took out one of the letters from Emily from the pocket of my jeans and handed over the envelope to the driver.

"You could have said that. Anyways, I'll take you there."

I looked out of the window and could feel some familiar vibes.

This place was really good and the fact that my Emily lived here just multiplied the significance of this place for me.

"Is there a flower shop on our way?"

"Yeah. It is just a few kilometers before your destination. Do we have to stop there?"

"Yeah. Thank you."

And so I first got down at the flower shop and took a bouquet of red and white roses for Emily and aunt Cara.

Within 10 minutes, the cab driver dropped me in front of an apartment which I assumed to be Emily's place.

I got down of the cab, took out all my luggage and walked to the gates of an apartment. I walked up to Emily's room and rang the doorbell.

My heart was beating really fast now and I was all covered in sweat. A kind of pain, happiness, love, sadness and many other feelings gushed through me. Then suddenly, the doors of the home opened and I saw a young boy without a t-shirt standing in front of me.

"Yeah?"

"Is this Emily's place?"

"Emily? Who is she?"

"This is her place, right?"

"You are mistaken man! This is my place. She must be the one who lived here earlier."

Saying those words, he slapped the door on my face and I stood there trying to take in his words and to understand the entire scenario.

He said she must be the one who lived here. Then where is she now?

That is when realization hit me hard!

She.Is.In.Miami.

Hey! So I know this is such a lame chapter like I myself would refrain from reading this. But lemme explain you people the whole scenario.

After writing nearly half of the chapter, I realized the mistake I had done. Jeremy wasn't supposed to come to Raleigh but to Miami. I could have re-written the whole thing but the winter has really made me lazy and so I let it be the way it was.

I am really sorry! But I promise that Emily and Jeremy would meet in the next chapter.

Thank you everyone!

And yeah one more thing. I have started re-writing the book "MIDNIGHT". It would mean a lot if you could just check it again and tell me what you all feel.
