Yesterday was really terrible for me. Since the time I read that letter and heard a bit from Elena, I can hardly even sit calmly. Elena wanted to tell me the entire story of what had actually happened with me but she left saying she had some work to do.
Memory loss? What could have gone wrong with me that my brain remembers nothing? What about my parents then? And does this all mean that I loved Emily?
Thinking about all these stuffs just worsens my morning.
DING DONG!
I rush to the door to take Emily's letter.
"Good morning sir."
"What is so good? In fact this is one of the worst mornings!"
"I am sorry sir. Here is your letter."
I took the letter from him and closed the door immediately.
Today there was the letter along with a diamond ring. You have got to be kidding me!
Dear Stranger,
Hi! How are you? Did you get the ring along with this letter? You must have got it. Don't worry I didn't buy this. In fact it's you who should worry because you were the one who gifted me this. Or rather I should say that you had proposed me on this very date.
It was just our anniversary and I was very excited about it since the morning. But you hadn't called me since the morning neither did you come to meet me for once. I was so angry. I was working at the cafeteria when you suddenly came in and surprised everyone. Thank god we were just about to close the cafeteria and so there were only the staff members. I was so scared after seeing you that way because I felt something was wrong with you.
The very next moment you came running towards me and engulfed me in your arms. You bombarded me with your hot and intense kissed, covering my entire face. I had already melted in your arms. The very next moment you did something I hadn't even thought about. You went down on your knees and took out your salary slip and started jumping around as it was your first salary and you had even got a bonus. To be true, I was disheartened a bit because when you went down on your knees I thought you are gonna do THAT. But my disappointment flew away when you again went down on your knees, took out this ring and said "Emily will you marry me please?"
Yes! Yes! Yes!
I am yours and I'll be yours forever!
Here is the diamond ring. I am not saying no but I am returning it to you so that when you come to me you don't have to buy another one.
