Chapter 49: Time for the gala

3rd person POV

The girls were back from the spa having fully relaxed. They ran up the stairs knowing they only had a few hours until the gala. Martha was confused as to why they worked so hard to distract her from the decorations but quickly shrugged it off.

She was having the best birthday if her very stressful life. It had no stress nothing to worry about. Everything that seemed to lead to stress was immediately taken care of. She doesn't mind that she didn't get any gifts. It really didn't matter to her.

She steps into her room heading straight to her closet. Everyone follows entering. The people who hadn't seen it before almost fainted on spot the rest were still a little surprised all except Selina and Chloe.

"Hmmm I want one this big" Selina says making Martha giggle.

"The heck I want a rich dad" Ivy and Harley say at the same time.

"Where are the dresses Mari-bug" Chloe asks still bored. Martha smiles hoping over to her remote and pressing a baton different from the last one. This time a part of the floor opens up and a bunch and some clothes on hangers of course rise up making everyone's jaws drop.

"What the-" everyone who hasn't been there in the morning shouts.

"What does this wall move too" Allegra jokes.

"No but the railing does" Martha replies pressing another button causing her clothes to spin around. She presses it again stopping it.

"Why am I not surprised" Kagami says smiling as everyone looks like they about to loose their minds.

Martha makes her way towards the dresses taking them out and handing them to their respective person.

"Wait before we leave I want to know one more thing about your closet" Stephanie begs.

"The wall over there contains all my fabrics" Martha says. "They are more openings on the floor for my clothing and stuff and my jewelry over there" she says pointing to the spot from the morning.

"Okay now everyone needs their make up done" Chloe says dragging them out of the impressively humongous closet"

Time skip

Chloe had just finished Martha's make up. Martha is about to grab her dress when stopped by Chloe.

"Your father has bought the best dress money can buy for you" she says going out the room and coming in with the dress Martha had designed for the princess.

"But that dress is for-" Martha says.

"The princess if Gotham who's birthday is today is her birthday and her father wanted to spoil her because she deserves the world and more" Chloe says smiling at her best friend/sister/daughter. Martha immediately tackles Chloe into a hug.

"You lucky my makeup still matches with the dress and the surprise it holds" Martha mumbles.

"Go get dressed the party is at full swing by now" Chloe complains.

"It's a stuffy gala nothing close to a party" Martha says.

"Just go" Chloe says making the girl giggle as she rushes back to the bathroom before stopping.

"Hey Chloe" she says to her best friend who was just about to exit the room.

"Yes" she asks.

"Thank you" Martha says going into the bathroom and closing the door.

"No thank you" she whispers to herself closing the door and walking away.

Time skip

Lila and her sheep stood in one side of the room. Tom and sabine had been invited to this event as a bonus to the siblings (like almost everyone in their crazy family) enjoyment. They had a plan to avenge their princess.

Tom and Sabine stuck to each other not interacting with anyone else. Lila and the idiots hadn't tried anything yet.

"Look Mari-sl*t didn't bother to show her face" Alya sneered.

"The Wayne's probably figured she was nothing but a piece of trash and threw her out" Lila says grateful the brat wasn't there to ruin her image. She had a chance to actually get to connections she lied about.

The only problem was that people looking at her weirdly ever time she says that her dress was a 'MDC original.

Truth is everyone knew MDC had rebranded. She is now MSW. They really didn't question the change. Well that's because most understood.

"Look it the real Martha Wayne's birthday" Alya points out.

"Yeah Marinette is nothing but an attention seeking brat"someone from the class says. That triggers it the class starts throwing insults at the poor girl.

On the other side of the room Jon is fuming.

"F*ckiny sh*ty class" jon mumbles that everyone that was not part of the Wayne family or MPS was there. The Wayne's were shocked. Jon never swe toared. Jason sighs accepting he was unfortunately perfect for his sister. He silently accepts the fact, not that he'll ever admit it.

"Relax we'll get our revenge soon" Chloe says making Luka chuckle.

"Dude do you ever get mad" Tim asks.

"Yeah you don't know how many times I've wanted to strangle those idiots with my guitar string slicing their heads in half especially Agreste" Luka sneers "and how many of the same threats I've made towards Jon if he dared break her heart"

Before I continue let's describe how they're dressed.

Chloe is wearing a long yellow dress. It is city and the side with a black trail. It shows of her body perfectly including her breast.

Tim is wearing a black suit with a red shirt no tie. You do not need one.

Dick is wearing a light blue suit with a black shirt, no tie. Kor'i is wearing a dark pink almost purple knee length dress with a flowy skirt. Mar'i is wearing her princess gown. It is bright pink perfect for the little girl.

Barbara is wearing a bright purple tight on knee length dress. Jason is wearing a red suit with a black shirt, no tie.

Stephanie is wearing a light pink flowy dress and Cass besides her is matching only her is a light purple with a bit of black.

Kagami is wearing a black dress with a bit of red. It is mid thigh and tight as heck. Luka wore a black suit with bottle green shirt, no tie.

Julika wore a purple and black over the top dress. She was showing off her model side. Alix on the other hand wore something simple. A orange knew length dress with black stripes. It was basketball themed.

Martha took a deep breath trying to get herself ready to go down those stairs. Her life was about to change for the better.

She had on her really big well not big but over the top ball gown. It had a beautiful red top that had black lining over the edge of the bra. It showed off her cleavage perfect. The skirt was black with red lining at the end. It covered her feet and the back dragged behind her as she walked. A dress for for a princess.

Her hair was down and a ruby flowers crown stood on he head. She had red fingerless gloves on and red heels. She topped the whole look off with a ruby necklace that went across he chest.

She took a deep breath taking a step forward. She was now at the very to of the staircase looking over the events. All attention is immediately directed towards her. It was as if everything had stopped. She looks around gasping at the sight,tear of happiness forming at the corner of her eyes.

"Surprise" everyone minus the sheep and lier shouts. "Happy birthday"

They was not a person in the room who was not really close to her. Well minus the idiots. Everyone was the. Including the justice league, young justice league and teen titans. Every celebrity. Everyone.
