walking in circles becomes an obsession.
once you're trapped in, there's no way out.
no one ever asks you about
your favourite distraction.
come back and start again is what a human like me
experience every single minute,

and all the miracles that we can see.
staying up all night
because sleeping is just a short moment.
it's scary to wake up in one movement,
to open your eyes and see a light.
"why are you sad?" they ask
don't tell me you've never been sad,
don't hide the feelings you've ever had
because i'm sick of wearing a mask
