I looked up from looking at Terrell in his stroller, and noticed Shamar stepping in the elevator.

"Hello. How are you doing?"

I looked him up and down before replying to what he said.

"Hey. Good and you?"

He was a very attractive man from his chocolate skin, to his nicely fresh haircut and goatee he was sporting very well.

"Good. I've just been working alot."

He then began to give me the look I was giving him.

"Well that's what business men do, especially lawyers. I always wanted to be one."

"Yeah that's true. And why don't you become one?"

"Long story. But the short version is family is more important, when their all you have left."

"Oh. I'm sorry."

"Your ok."

It turned into a awkward silence as three more people got on the elevator. So Shamar decided to stand closer next to me.

"Awwwww you guys are so cute."

An older Indian women said, while she looked at us in amazement.

"Well n-"

"Thank you."

He turned and smiled at me, before he poked me in back.

"So how old is the baby?"

"Four months."

I smiled happily thinking about how big, and old he's getting.

"Oh wow. He's such a cutie pie. Planning on having anymore?"

I was going to shake my head but Terrell caught my attention by kicking his feet.

"Yup we sure do."

I was shocked at what he said, then the elevator doors opened. Then he pushed Terrell's stroller out the elevator.

"I wish you guys the best of luck on your family."

"Thank you."

She followed behind is out the elevator, going to a door and scanning her ID before she disappeared in a door. We walked out the hospital to the parking garage.

"So we're a family now?"

"Not yet we just gonna start this relationship off right by being friends."

"Ok. So stranger friend let's do something."

"Ight. So where's your car?"

"Right here."

"This a nice as car."

"Thanks."
