"Okay! Someone has brought in some abalone ! If you would like to try some it will be with Stella!" Morgan said

I stood up and Tate followed me and we walked over

"Hey Stella!" I said

"Someone brought abalone. Would you mind bringing it to the break room?" She asked handing it to me and I walked over.

Tate opened the door for me and I set it on the table and everyone took one

Me and Tate looked at it and I took one but he didn't .

I tried some and it tasted weird. I did t wanna be rude so I drank some water to get rid of the taste.

"Bleh" I said walking back to my office

I continued to work but a small pain settled into my stomach.

"You okay Cole?" Tate asked

I nodded

"My stomach hurts a bit.probably nothing." I said

I was called into a meeting.

"Okay so we need to talk about the" Mr. Richie said as I zoned out.

Just staring at the charts and pretending to write down notes.

"Mr Lord are you okay?" I heard

"Yes I'm fine, please continue " I said

I held back multiple coughs as the meeting progressed.

" the overall financial state of the company is worth over 3 million dollars in stocks right now." He continued

30 more minutes passed and I really couldn't hold in this cough anymore

"And with that this meeting is concluded , any questions?" He asked

We all shook our heads

"Thank you for your time , have a good day" he said and I took my water, phone and notebook and speed walked back into my office.

Tate wasn't in there so I coughed whatever it was out.

I felt something coming up and spit it out closing my eyes. Into my bin ofc.

I looked at the pictures on my desk. The one of me and Shay at the football game where I proposed.my hands were under her ass lifting her up in the air and she was cupping my face.

Then onto the one of just the lords.
My parents had done some photo shoot thing.
My mom was on one side and me and my brothers were all bunched together in the middle. Callie in the center and my arms around her.

Then the last one of all of us at a pizza place.
Everyone who lives in the lord household currently WS in that picture, including Ace.

"You good?" Someone said which snapped me out of my trans

"Yea , " I said

" Cole dear, you look quite pale " Morgan said to me and I looked in my phone camera

"Nah I'm fine" I said

"If that's what you say" she said

And watched as she left.

I coughed once more and the pain in my stomach slowly and slowly getting worse.

Red marks from the scratching.

"Lunch?" I said and Tate nodded as we both packed up

We brought our stuff with us and drove home.

"Dude your coughing like a maniac " Tate said
