Always Here to Help

You and Topper were in a relationship but it was toxic. One night you were just sick of all the fighting and arguing so you left and went to who you needed most, JJ.

"Topper! Stop It!" you yell at him. "No Y/N! This is all your fault!" Topper yells at you getting closer to you. "Whatever. I'm leaving." you say looking him in the eyes. Topper doesn't say anything and just rolls his eyes and walks away.

You go into your room and pack up some clothes and anything you can fit in your bag. You put on your shoes and grab your phone. You walk downstairs and get your car keys. Topper is on the couch drinking a beer not paying attention. You step through the door when Topper says something. "Go sleep with JJ you bitch!" he says. "Fuck you!" you say flipping him off and get in your car.

You call up someone who has helped you in the past and is someone you love dearly. JJ. "Hey Y/N. What's up?" he says concerned. "Hey umm can I come over. Me and Topper got in a fight again." you say sniffing through the phone. "Yeah of course." he says. "Okay thank you." you say with relief. "How far are you away?" JJ ask you. "I'm like 2 minutes away." you tell him. "Okay great I'll be waiting for you outside." he says. "Okay, bye." you say. "Bye see ya soon." he says and you hang up.

2 minutes later you arrive. You get out of your car and walk over to JJ.

You hold your arms out for a hug and he hugs you. "Hey, let's get you inside." he says wrapping his arm around you. JJ was always super touching and caring when it came to the people he loved. Before you dated Topper, JJ was always flirty but he was with a lot of girls. Now that things are bad with Topper your feelings have grown for JJ over time.

"Can I get you something to drink?" JJ ask looking in the fridge. "No that's fine. Thank you." you tell him. "Okay." he says grabbing a beer out of the fridge. You sit down in the couch and drop your bag on the ground. JJ comes over and sits next to you. He looks in your eyes and smiles. "Why are you looking at me like that?" you say. "Oh no reason." he says. You nod and lay your head back on the couch. "So what happened?" JJ ask you. You set your head back up and face him. "Okay we'll we got in an argument and I guess I just got so sick of him yelling at me, so I left." you tell him. "What was he yelling at you for?" he ask. "I don't even know. Even by looking at each other we can't help but start an argument. Lately things have been off." you say. "Can I give you some advice?" JJ ask you. "Please." you say. "I would break up with the asshole. You deserve better." JJ says. "Oh trust me I am and thank you. Who would be better for me?" you say. "Me." he says shyly. "JJ-" you say but he cuts you off. "I shouldn't have said that you are technically still in a relationship and I-" he says and you cut him off. "Shut up." you tell him. He looks at you in your eyes and you look at him. The tension in the room is too much to not do something. You put your hand on his cheek and kiss him. JJ looks at you and immediately kisses you back. You straddle his lap and you guys start making out. His hands on your waist and your hands in his hair. This moment is what you guys both needed most.

The moment gets stolen when Topper comes barging through the door. "I knew it! I knew you would be here hooking up with JJ!" Topper shouts. You hop off JJ's lap. "Topper what the hell are you doing here!" you say. "I came here because I knew you would be here with him!" he says. "Topper! We were just kissing!" you say. "Yeah kissing but it would've lead to more! Your just a damn cheater." he says. You look down. "We should break up." you blurt out. "We were already over the second your lips were on JJ's." he says. "Topper just leave." you tell him. He nods angrily and starts walking away. He stops and walks back to you but closer. "You're a slut Y/N." he says. Tears start forming in your eyes and JJ notices. "Topper don't you ever talk to Y/N that way!" JJ says getting mad. Topper just looks at him and leaves. You hear his car pull out of the drive way and you fall into JJ's arms crying. He wraps his arms around you rubbing your back and head. You cry into his shoulder. "Shhh." JJ says calmly. You stop crying at stare into his blue eyes. Those blue eyes that make you feel at home. JJ wipes your tears off your cheek with his thumbs. "Here let's cuddle." JJ says. You follow him back to the couch and he grabs a blanket and wraps it around you. You lay your head on his chests and he wraps his arm around you. As soon as you lay your head down on his chests you fall asleep. JJ notices and smiles and falls asleep too.

John B, Kie, and Pope arrive back with grocery's and automatically see you and JJ sleeping on the couch cuddled up. "What the hell happened while we were gone?" Kie says. "Did we miss something?" Pope says. "She must have gotten in another fight with Topper." John B says. "They look so cute together." Kie says. "Yeah I agree." John B says.
