Jealously

You were dating Rafe Cameron and y'all were at a party and JJ was there along with his friends. JJ wanted to be with you but he knew how Rafe was but deep down you knew as well that you had feelings for JJ too.

JJ'S POV:
I'm at this party in the boneyard with the other pouges. This is a fun party but then again it's boring. Every party is basically the same. People are drinking, smoking, hooking up some where on the beach, fights break out, and just the same party stuff.

I'm drinking some beer out of a red solo cup talking to John B when I see Y/n walk up with Rafe. She's so pretty. She is a kook but I know deep down she doesn't want to be. Her Y/H/C just flows so perfectly in the breeze and her Y/E/C sparkles in the moonlight. She's wearing these jean shorts that make her butt look amazing and this black tank top that compliments her tan skin perfectly. She's wearing these platform white converses that add some height to her but not enough to match up with my height or Rafes. She looks so happy. I don't know if it's from being with Rafe or seeing her friends here. I wish I made her that happy. "JJ!" John B says snapping me out of my thoughts. "Sorry. Um what were you saying?" I ask. "Dude what is with you lately?" John B says but turns his head around to see who I'm looking at. "Ohhh I see." John B says turning his head back around to face me. "What?" I ask innocently. "You have feelings for Y/n!" John B says a little to loud. "DUDE! Could you be any louder...but yeah I guess you could say I do." I tell him. "Are you crazy!? She's dating Rafe." John B tells me. "Yes I know she's dating Rafe but I don't think the relationship is good." I tell him not knowing if that's true or not but nothing with Rafe Cameron can be good. Right? "It could be. She looks happy with him." John B tells me. "I wish that was me making her happy though." I tell him. As soon as he's about to speak I see Y/n and Sarah walking towards me and John B.

Y/N'S POV:
I arrive at the party with Rafe and see a couple people I know from the kook academy and say hey to them. "Hey Y/n!" This girl named Ava that I knew. "Hey girl!" I say and give her a hug. "Gosh you and Rafe are the perfect couple." She says. "Thank you." I say but knowing that deep down our relationship was far from perfect.

"Y/N!!! Is that you!" Sarah says walking over towards me. "HEY!!" I say. She gives me a hug.

We start talking about random stuff for like 10 minutes.

"Hey babe." Rafe says kissing the top of my head. "Heyyy." I say to him. "I got you a drink." he says handing me a drink. "Thank you." I say taking the red solo cup out of his hands. "You're welcome." he says. "Okay well I'm gonna go talk to Topp and Kelce. You need anything else before I go?" Rafe ask. "Nope I'm okay thank you though." I say. "Okay." he says now walking back to his friends. "I can't believe he's being so nice." Sarah says. "Yeah I know but he's only like this when we are around people." I tell Sarah. *Sarah knew y'all's relationship wasn't perfect like everyone else did. You trusted her so you told her everything plus you guys were friends before you dated Rafe.* "Come on let's go see John B and JJ." Sarah tells me. "Okayy." I say to her.

I always thought JJ was hot and then I got to know him better from him being friends with Sarah and learned that he wasn't just hot he was hot and caring . I never thought he liked me or found me attractive so I never told him how I felt. That's one of the reasons I first got with Rafe was to clear my head from JJ.

"Hey boys." Sarah says. John B puts his arm around her. "What y'all talking about?" I ask.

JJ'S POV:
"Fishing." John B says fast so I don't come up with a stupid excuse. "Interesting." Y/n says. "Yup." I say. The vibe stays silent for a little bit until Sarah talks. "John B?" Sarah says. "Yeah?" John B says. "You wanna go get a drink?" Sarah ask John B. "Yeahhh." John B says.

Y/N'S POV:
Sarah winks at me and I give her a shut up look.

JJ'S POV:
They walk off and now it's just me and Y/n. We stay silent for a little bit then I saw something to break the ice. "So...how are you and Rafe?" I ask her. She stays silent for a second then speaks. "Uh w-we're good." She tells me but I know she's not telling the whole truth. "Y/n I know you're not telling the truth. What's really going on?" I ask her. Then right when she's about to talk Rafe comes over. "Hey Y/n. JJ." he says grabbing her hand. I give him a hey type of nod. "Y/n may I speak to you for a second." Rafe ask her already pulling her over. "Sure." she says and then looks back at me. "Go ahead." I tell them. Rafe walks off with Y/n.

RAFE'S POV:
I'm busy talking to Kelce and Topper when all of a sudden I see my girlfriend talking to some pouge. It's JJ Maybank. Of course. I shack my head as I see the two of them having a conversation. This makes me jealous. I end the conversation with Topper and Kelce and head over to where Y/n and JJ are. I approach them in a calm matter even though I'm filled with jealousy and anger right now.

I take Y/n a couple feet away from JJ in the middle of the sand where no one really is. "Y/n what the hell are you doing!?" I ask her. "I'm having a normal conversation with my friend." she tells me. This makes me mad. A pouge is not a friend. "So JJ's your friend now?" I ask her. "Rafe he's always been my friend." she tells me. "Look I don't won't you to talk to any of these pouges. They're bad news Y/n. The only one I tolerate is Sarah because she's my sister and I have too." I say. "I can be friends and talk to whoever I want. You don't control me Rafe. I'm not your property to manage." she tells me and her voice gets louder where a couple people are staring. "Shhh lower your voice people are staring." I tell her. "I don't care anymore Rafe! I cant do this anymore." she says. "You can't do what anymore!?" I say now getting mad. "THIS. US. I can't do us anymore." she tells me. "So you're breaking up with me!?" I ask her. "Yes. This is a toxic relationship and I'm sick of people saying that we are the perfect couple when we are far from perfect!" she tells me. "Okay. I always knew you were a bitch." I say stepping closer to her.

Y/N'S POV:
That sentence set me off. I slapped Rafe across the face in front of everyone and now everyone was staring at us. I didn't care though. "WHAT THE HELL Y/N." Rafe screams at me. "You deserved that!" I tell him. Everyone was walking closer to us i guess to hear our conversation better so I take this as my opportunity. "Can I have ever one's attention please! I have a little announcement to make!" I say and everyone goes silent and looks at me. "So as most of you guys if not all know that me and Rafe are dating. Well not anymore. Everyone has seen us as this perfect couple but that's not the case. Rafe Cameron has screamed at me, hit me, and lied to me." I say and everyone is still silent. Rafe starts storming off and JJ runs up and follows him. "HEY RAFE." JJ says. "JJ don't do it." Pope says knowing exactly what he's going to do. "Don't be a hero man." John B tells him. Rafe turns around and looks at JJ. "If you come anywhere near her again I'll kill you." he says through his teeth and not causing a fight. Rafe nods his head and walks off.

Most people have left the party so it was just mostly me and the pouges there. "Y/n I'm so sorry you had to go through that. We had no idea." Kie says. "You couldn't have known I mean no one did." I tell her. "Y/n can I speak to you for a second? In private." JJ ask me.
"Yeah sure." I say standing up and following him down the beach.

JJ'S POV:
This is finally my chance to tell Y/n how I feel. "What you said back there. Saying that no one could've known. Well I did." I tell her. "What!? How?" she ask me. "Cause I know you. You don't look that happy around him as you are when your hanging out with me or anyone else. I knew something was up I just didn't want it to be true because you don't deserve that." I tell her. She smiles and looks at me to finish. "You should be with someone who cares about you and loves you in public and in private." I tell her. "And who would that be?" she ask me.

Y/N'S POV:
I really hope he says my name.

JJ'S POV:
"Me." I say. I can't believe I just said that. Must be the alcohol talkin. "You." she says. "Yeah me." I say. She stops walking and turns to face me and kisses me. "Gosh I wanted to do that even before I got with Rafe." she tells me. "Why didn't you say anything I've liked you for as long as I can remember." I tell her. "I didn't think you felt the same way." she tells me. "I do Y/n." I tell her and lean in for another kiss. "Will you be my girlfriend?" I ask her. "Yes of course." she says and after that we start walking back to our friends. "You are an official pouge now." I tell her. She laughs and we continue to walk.
