A Surprise From Behind

When we finished the movie Jason's mum and dad entered the house.

"We're home!" his dad shouted.

"Shoot" Jason said trying to push me in his wardrobe.

"What re you doing!?" I said trying to stop him.

"My mum and dad don't like it when I invite people in without them in, especially when it's a girl" I stepped into his wardrobe, it's so dark.

I heard footsteps come upstairs, and into his room.

"Oh, hey dad" Jason's voice said.

"Hello, are you coming down stairs for dinner, were making your favourite" his dads voice said.

"Yeh sure, ill be down in a minute"

"Before I forget, ask your friend if they want some too" I smirked a little.

"Friend, dad?" Jason asked as if I wasn't there.

"Yes the one that's in your wardrobe" I heard footsteps walk over to the wardrobe, and the light of the room hurt my eyes.

"Hi" I said and waved me hand awkwardly.

"Hello there, next time you should breath more quietly. I watched him as he walked out the room and closed the door behind him.

I stepped out the wardrobe.

"Do I really breath loud?" I questioned Jason.

"No, the carpet gave it away" he pointed down to the floor, the carpet was folded.

We both walked down the creaky stairs, and into the living room where lasagne was laid out. Jason's mum and dad were already sitting, Jason took me over and pulled a seat out for me.

"Thank you" I said then sat down.

"I hope you like lasangne" Jasons mum asked.

"I love it" I said loading my plate with it.

I was about to take a sip of my drink, but it was empty.

"Sherrie!" His dad shouted.

The same woman that answered the door to me came in holding a jug of ice water.

"Would you like some?" His father asked.

"Yes please" I said to the lady, as I watched her fill my glass with water.

"Thank you" I said.

'Is this there slave?' I thought, taking a sip of the water.

Half way through the meal Jason's parents kept asking me questions, I felt like I was in a interview.

"So Lola, what are you going to do once you have graduated?" His mum said, and his dad looking at me.

"Well I'm hoping to get into vet school, then from there a veterinary nurse.

"Oh, well I hope all goes well" she said drinking her red wine.

"Me too, what about you Jason?" I looked at him.

"The Royal Navy" he said taking loads of lasagne on his fork.

"Really" I said amused.

He just nodded his head.

Once dinner was over Jason offered to walk me home.

"No it's fine I'll walk half way and get my mum to pick me up" I insisted.

"Okay night night" he said kissing me and watched me walk out the door.

When I was a quarter away from visiting my mum, I heard noises coming from behind me.

"Hey, babe" a drunk Mike said.

He tried to grab me but I pulled away. Then he tried to KISS ME!

"Go away!" I shouted running away to meet up with my mum.

"Hello dear" she said starting the car.

"Please just drive" I said looking at her worriedly.

"Is everything okay?" She asked driving the car in a hurry.

"Yes everything's fine" I told her.

I can't believe Mike called me babe, and almost kissed me.

I am so not looking forward for school tomorrow.
