she doesn't let me write in books, she doesn't let have an opinion..
she doesn't let me have independence, she doesn't let me live my life
I am almost 20 years of age and my mom has a thick chain deeply engraved in my neck
im crippling in her control
I have barely any kind of soul
the lashes from her whip remain welted in my back, from the times ive tried to escape
trembling in fear of being disowned I stay here . trapped knowing ill leave and not have a home
so I stay
let her abuse rein over me ,
let her have the collar tightly wrapped around me
let my business always stay up her nose like cocaine in an addicts bone
I don't get love, not from my family, or yet my father alone.
ill stay to keep her pleased
have her claws and voice coolly flowing like a dove
because I want to have her love
my mommy.
