Seattle-Tacoma International Airport
Seattle, WA
Ash had never been this excited about landing in Seattle.
Johnny and his father had noticed the jubilation in the porcupine throughout their flight, watching her unable to contain her excitement. On why she felt that way, Ash promised to share the reason once they arrive.
It had been one week since the release of Johnny's father from prison. Having his sentenced shortened on grounds of good behaviour, Ash proposed the day after the release that they deserved a vacation. "Let's go visit take a trip, you two," Ash suggested the night of Marcus's release.
"To where?" Johnny turned to Ash as he and his dad were cooking a small dinner.
"Seattle, baby!" Ash screamed as the trio exited the arrival hall of the airport. "It's so great to be at home!"
That confused Johnny and his father.
"Wait, Seattle's your..."
Ash nodded. "I forgot to mention I was born here. Also, there's another reason for this trip. Johnny, we'll be performing at a bar tomorrow."
"You what?!" Johnny dropped his baggage in shock.
"I've got my dad to book a gig tomorrow at a bar near my parents' place. My parents wanted to see me perform and I do know your dad's thinking about setting up a bar, isn't that right, Mr Boyd?"
Marcus nodded. He had told Johnny and Ash that he was considering managing a bar, particularly the bar Buster needed inside his Moon Theatre. "I also know the manager of that bar. He's one of my former friends and I'm sure you two will enjoy this bar."
And just on cue, the taxi they hired arrived. "That's our ride! Let's go!"

The taxi left the airport just as American Authors played inside the radio.
(Song: "Go Big or Go Home" by American Authors)
Don't feel like going home
But all my cash is gone
Yeah, I got nothing to do tonight
I'm passed out on the floor
Up in the hotel bar
But it don't matter, cause I'm feeling fine
