Chapter two

**on a scale of 1-10***

The moment I have an idea of what might work, my mind eased a little. So I went about my business as usual.

Sometimes, we stay at our living room after Isha to talk about our individual lives. This helps me in noting if there's a problem I should anticipate from my siblings.

For instance, if my sisters had spoken to any of their spouses yet. It's a paralyzing event we all have been waiting for. Anti told me that Abba is still looking for my little sisters. I don't understand what luck we have until now. Since mine has ended, I'm certain everything will come crashing down. My biggest fear is if Abba decided my little sisters will not finish secondary school. Anisa is in her final year. Zahra and Salma are both in the penultimate class for graduation.

And then there is Marka!

Anti said my kid sisters, Ju and Hani have totally changed. That she doesn't understand them any longer. They only listen to Marka. They were mean to her all through her stay at Maicki and it worried me for a time before I decided to just pretend Anti was exaggerating a little. No one can change that fast. Especially not my kid sisters.

Marka hates Anti with a passion. Seriously, what she felt for me is definitely very small compared to her hatred for Anti. It's obvious that her charms aren't working in making Abba divorce Anti. Until now, Antil is still married to Abba and they speak on the phone all the time. Anti tries to act like Abba is pestering her life but we all know better.

She can't live a happy life without Abba. We still feel sorry for her!

It was one of such days and we all gathered at our medium sized parlour and the conversation has already reached its climax.

Anti said "sister. When are you taking Ibrahim to an actual kid's playground? The poor child needs an adventure!" Anti whined. My sisters hid their smile since they know what I'm going to say.

"Anti, he doesn't have to visit a playground to have fun. Look at all his toys! If he wants an adventure, let Anisa take him near Sis Rafee's house so he can do a few minutes of swinging. It's enough" I dismissed. The swing is drab and rickety old but it still works and it is in perfect condition.

"Subhanallah Sister! sometimes I don't know if he is lucky to have you as his mother or if he was actually punished in a round about manner since he has such cool aunties!" Anti sighed dramatically. My sisters smiled but no one looked at me. I rolled my eyes in an I don't even care gesture. Then I said "I don't like those playgrounds Anti. Everything there is especially designed to cause special accidents!"

Anti ahrugged. "Oho dai! We are still going. Since tomorrow is a weekend, we will first take him to fun city at Shoprite then we will travel to Munjibir park where we will spend one day of actual adventure! After an amazing picnic, we will all come home Sunday evening!" Anti narrated.

"Don't forget shopping Anti please!" Salma stated eagerly.

"Yeah. Mommy sis still owes us a new set of after dresses!" Zahra reminded me.

"I'm going to buy a heeled shoe for once because I'm going to try and look good during Safiyya's wedding!" Anisa exclaimed excitedly.

Hm.. Who is gonna give them such money? Uncle Farouq went there with his new bride and he said one day over there costs one hundred and sixty thousand! He simply spent half the amount to visit there for half a day! But anti is talking about a day and a half! Maybe she got money from Abba. He's totally showering her with 'money love' since she refused to go back.
