Acting with Caution

"This should do."

Ye Gui Feng soon finds a place to sit down and cultivate the True Shadow Body. He summons out his two Jiangshis to guard him as he begins to go through the knowledge inside of his head.

This magic allows one to manifest their shadows into a corporeal body that can be used in battle or for cultivation. It also has the benefit of aiding in one's energy recovery in the midst of battle.

For Ye Gui Feng who has to constantly refine demonic energy after absorbing souls in the midst of a heated battle this is the perfect magic that will aid him further along in battle and in cultivating.

When not in use Ye Gui Feng can easily store it away as his shadow and use it to cultivate for him. It is very much similar to having a clone that is directly linked to one's true self.

The shadow that is casted behind Ye Gui Feng seemingly trembles as he begins to cultivate this magic.

As Ye Gui Feng proceeds along in cultivating it the shadow continues to wiggle about and transform as if it is trying to model itself.

A sense of discomfort runs down Ye Gui Feng's back along with a strange sense of warmth. It is as if someone is trying to peel off a thin layer of skin from his entire back.

Although a few people would pass by Ye Gui Feng in the midst of his cultivation none of them dared to approach him seeing the two Dark Silver monstrosities that surrounds him.

Time passes quickly and upon Ye Gui Feng reopening eyes an entire five weeks had gone by. Standing back up Ye Gui Feng performs an incantation gesture and this summons out a body of pitch darkness to stand behind him.

Looking down at Ye Gui Feng's feet one can see that his shadow has completely vanished and has become this dark figure that stands behind him. The figure is completely colorless and without a face but the basic outline is Ye Gui Feng himself.

"Mm seems good."

With a satisfied nod Ye Gui Feng waves a hand and stores the True Shadow Body away. This causes his shadow to reappear behind him.

For the time being Ye Gui Feng has it set to cultivate for him but this doesn't really mean that he can give up on cultivating himself. If he cultivates together with the True Shadow Body his speed will be twice as fast.

"Meh let's go visit a few more locations. If those locations aren't opening or that I don't have any destined ties to them, I'll simply move on."

Spreading open his raven wings Ye Gui Feng takes to the skies to head for the next tomb that's closet to him.

"Actually I should really head for the direction of the central tomb..."

The central part of the Fallen Warriors' Ruins has the special lock that can only be opened by someone with the Heavenly Demon physique. No one really knows what lies on the other side of that locked door.

"Whatever I'll visit all the tombs on the way there."

Flying through the skies for around 30 minutes while seeing many different beasts and demons along the way Ye Gui Feng lands to take a look at another tomb up close.

Unfortunately after a few minutes of searching Ye Gui Feng frowns as this tomb didn't seem to hold any kind of destiny with him.

Although these tombs can be forced opened for their treasures no one will be able to obtain the true legacy, the legacy magic that each tomb holds unless they are destined to it.

"It's strange..."

Tilting his head Ye Gui Feng finds something odd about this entire ruin. If there are immortals within the battle that had taken place here many, many years ago then what happened to their souls?
