Before Ye Gui Feng can get a word out of his own mouth Yao Nie Tian teleports right in front of him and begins to beat him.

"You unfilial son you actually thought you could get away!? I may not have been around when you were growing up but that doesn't mean that you can just cause me trouble!"

Although these hits might look heavy and harsh none of them really hit the vitals of Ye Gui Feng.

In the midst of giving Ye Gui Feng a beating Yao Nie Tian transmits the boy a message through telepathy.

(Hurry up and play along or else you'll really be dead.)

Understanding the intention of the Yao Nie Tian Ye Gui Feng quickly starts to scream in pain.

"Ahh! Stop hitting me! I was wrong! Ahhhhhh!"

The painful screams that come out of Ye Gui Feng's mouth leaves many speechless. It sounds far too real that some of them had believed it.

"This is far too strange..."

"Is he really that Yao Nie Tian's bastard child?"

Even the immortal patriarchs of the family are somewhat dumbfounded by all of this as they continue to look on with strange looks.

The beating lasts for a full two minutes before Ye Gui Feng stands to the side of Yao Nie Tian.

"Ahem excuse this child of mine for causing fellow clansmen such trouble. I do apologize for this but he's had a harsh life. He wasn't born in the family's territories. It was a folly of my youth that made me do some deeds that I'd rather not speak of here today."

Seemingly everyone here is convinced but there is still a few traces of uncertainty towards all of this.

For those that actually believed this act their conclusion is that Ye Gui Feng is the bastard child of Yao Nie Tian.

Although the immortal realm patriarchs that are watching this in secret are still uncertain of everything they didn't bother to think too deeply into this.

If Ye Gui Feng truly is the son of Yao Nie Tian then they had nothing to worry about.

Even if Ye Gui Feng truly does have the purest Yao family bloodline that doesn't mean anything because he is not able to inherit the role of clan chief due to his relationship with Yao Nie Tian.

"Patriarch Nie Tian then..."

"Ye was his mother's surname, Ye Gui Feng had been a name to keep him safe and hidden away from the Chi family while he was outside. His true name is Yāo Xiéshén! (妖邪神)"

(Damn old man must you really give me such a name?)

The story manages to convince a few more people but it still wasn't capable of convincing the more stubborn few of the group.

It is especially difficult for the ones that had used magical techniques in their pursuit of Ye Gui Feng because they knew that they have already offended someone that is directly related to an elder class figure.

Within the Yao family Yao Nie Tian holds a very high position of power as demonstrated by his authority over Mount Zhu Tian.

However that doesn't mean that Yao Nie Tian's position is concrete. Due to Yao Nie Tian's background his position as an elder is not as powerful as the other elders in terms of speaking rights.

(Hmm...)

Seeing as how there are still a few people unconvinced Ye Gui Feng continues to play along. He sheds crocodile tears as he turns to Yao Nie Tian.

"Father you must get justice for mother! The Chi family managed to find us and in the end they killed her! Shen'er managed to cling to my life and come here to find you!"

Through tears and an expression of deep pain Ye Gui Feng speaks loudly for all to hear.

Although Ye Gui Feng didn't know who the Chi family is but their name seems to get the blood of the Yao family boiling in fury.

Since that's the case Ye Gui Feng readily takes advantage of this fact to make up a story of his own to go along with Yao Nie Tian's.

"The Chi family again..."

"All of them are trash!"

"One of these days they'll surely get their just dessert."

This lie manages to convince most of the younger members of the crowd but it was the elders and patriarchs who are still unconvinced by all of this.

"This brat has talent in acting..."

"Are his words really the truth?"

"I find all of this hard to believe."

All of these people have lived for far too long and their natural instincts are sharper than most to see through deceptions.

Some of them had done a quick checkup of Ye Gui Feng's history. From the moment of Ye Gui Feng's arrival here in the Yao family he has done nothing but spend time on Mount Zhu Tian's archive. As for anything before his arrival all of them are unknown.

Amongst these old monsters is the clan chief, Yao Xie Xian. For some reason whenever he looks at Ye Gui Feng he frowns.

"Why does it feel like... There's a strand of karma between us? I've clearly never met this child before."

It was then that the skies suddenly darken. The ten pillars that symbolizes Ye Gui Feng's pure blood converges in on him like a spotlight.

Within the Yao family's ancestral courtyard lies a single painting.

Depicted on the painting is a long haired youth with closed eyes. The one shown in this painting is none other than the Yao family's ancient ancestor, Yao Zhen Tian.

A droning sounds emits from the painting that gives off a pale white radiance as an ancient voice speaks.

[By the acknowledgement of Yāo Xuè Méi (妖血莓) Yao Xieshen shall be accepted as a clansman of the Yao family!]

The voice that comes from the painting covers the entirety of the heavens for all to hear and a tremor runs through all the clansmen of the Yao family.

As the bloodline pillars and dome of red light vanishes so does the final shred of doubt within the clansmen.

This voice that comes from the painting is a collection of ancestral wills. Yao Xue Mei had been one of the oldest ancestors of the modern day Yao family.

For Yao Xue Mei to acknowledge Ye Gui Feng as a true clansman of the Yao family means that regardless of what anyone thinks Ye Gui Feng must be accepted.

This causes even the stubborn patriarchs to come to accept this. Some of them had viewed Ye Gui Feng favorable due to his Heavenly Demon physique but because of his unknown origin they had been hesitant to speak out.

"Shen'er come. We're leaving."

Yao Nie Tian puts a hand on Ye Gui Feng's shoulders and teleports them back to his courtyard on Mount Zhu Tian.

"..."

Yao Nie Tian walks into the main building of the courtyard and sat down while pouring himself a cup of tea. Ye Gui Feng stands outside of the main building with eyes of confusion.

"Uh... Senior are we truly related?"

"..."

Yao Nie Tian raises his head and looks at Ye Gui Feng with narrowed eyes.

"What do you think? Of course we're not related. The trouble you caused this time hmph."

Ye Gui Feng relaxes his body as he walks into the main building and sat down on one of the chairs that is off to the side.
