ONE DAY, Jesus said to His Disciples...

"Whoever wants to follow Me must carry his own Cross and walk with Me to the Promised Land!"

"Yes Rabbi!" they answered..

So the twelve disciples started to carry their cross and followed Him.....

Jesus was also carrying His Cross which was two times bigger than theirs....

But the disciples didn't know that the road to the Promised Land was not that easy to take... They have to walk on thorny weeds, rocky roads and narrow paths! They have to climb slopes, rocky mountains and cross rivers while carrying their cross... And they have to spent 40 days for their long journey without food and water....

As they traveled far, the disciples felt so tired and they felt their cross was getting heavier as they took each step... Sweats rolled through their brows, down to the tip of their nose! Wounds beneath their feet continued bleeding... Still, they continued walking...

Among the twelve disciples of Jesus, Judas was the most peevish one... He has always something to say and felt so irritated whenever they have to passed through an obstacle...

When he saw the rocky hill they have to climb, he got so pissed and stopped walking...

"Is there any other much easier way we can pass through? Why is it people are so dumb, they tried to chose the hard way when infact there are many roads which are more easier to take?" he murmured!

Bartolome heard him and said...

"The road to Promised Land has full of obstacles and there's no easy way you can pass through... If you want to reach that Place, therefore you must go through all hardships and pains!"

Judas saw how everyone really exerted effort, enduring all the pains in order to climb that rocky hill...

"You're all dumb, thats all your fault! You don't think of an easy way!" he whispered to himself!

He immidiately got his knife and slowly cut his cross in order for him to carry it more easier...

Every time Judas felt tired of carrying his cross, he would cut it until it became smaller and smaller...

But Jesus and the other disciples endured it all! Bearing all the pains, hunger, and thirst along the journey...

"Its been 20 days since we left... No food satisfy our hunger, No water to fill our thirst! I felt so weaked already! My body is so weaked, I am afraid I cant climbed up anymore!" said Peter in a weak voice.. His feet was bleeding, His sweats was rolling down all over his body...and felt massive thirst!

"Don't give up! We're almost there!!! Keep on walking!!! Have faith, stay positive, dont lost hope! Just think you can do it!!!" James answered in a low voice... He looked also weak but his face was full of hope!!!

As they climbed up the rocky mountain with the cross on their shoulders..., suddenly, Jesus fell down to the ground, and the cross He was carrying fell down on top of His body...

"Rabbi!!!! Rabbi!!!!" Peter shouted with great worries in his eyes..

Peter immediately helped Him and tried to lift His cross but he couldn't even move it, so he called other disciples for help! He noticed that the cross Jesus was carrying was five times heavier than his, but still Jesus carry it with love and never tried to demand...

Tears slowly dripped down from his eyes, as he saw Jesus' big wound on top of His shoulder, flowing with blood! His feet were also covered with wounds, His white cloak was full of blood stains and stripped, still He continued walking and bear all the pains..

A thought came to his mind...

"The Lord is carrying a cross much more heavier than mine, but still He never asked help and never give up... Mine is more easier to carry! Therefore i don't have the right to demand... I can do it! I can overcome all this trials...!" Peter thought to himself.

He regained strength and hope! He carried again his cross and continued walking...

Finally, on the 40th day, at last they reached their destination! But the disciples have one more obstacle to take... They have to cross a deep abyss and the problem, there was no bridge to use...

So Peter asked Jesus...

"Rabbi, how can we cross over that deep abyss, when theres no bridge?"

"Don't worry, there is a way!" He answered!

"But how?" asked Philip.

"Use your cross as bridge! You laid down your cross vertically until it reaches the other side of the cliff...!" said Jesus..

The Disciples immediately did what the Lord had told them! All of them had successfully crossed over the deep abyss except Judas!

Not long before, Judas fell down to the deep abyss, he didnt made it, because his cross was too short to make a bridge..

Jesus and His eleven disciples succeed their long journey and enjoyed the fruit of their hardships... At the Promised Land, there were no more pains, no more tears They enjoyed never ending happiness together with the Lord!
