You walked around your local park with your new puppy, Teddy. He was a Springer Spaniel and you'd only had him for a few weeks. You were normally quite a lazy person, but when it came to Teddy you loved being outside.

You walked around the park. You never realised how pretty it was until now. The trees were bright green and nourished. The flowers were flourished. You watched as Teddy jumped into the long grass, playing around. He ran up to you and jumped up onto your legs. You bent down and scratched behind his ears.

You made you way around a bend in the park. Your eyes immediately went to a bunch of boys playing football. Oh no, a ball. You were just about to grab Teddy's collar, when he ran off. The bad thing about having a dog was that they loved balls.

"Teddy, stay!" You shouted and saw that it was no use. The dog carried on running so you quickened your pace. By this time the group of boys were all looking at you. One of the boys with curly hair was holding the ball and Teddy was heading straight at him.

Teddy jumped on him and he fell back on to the floor. "Teddy!" You half yelled in embarrassment. It happened to be that the boy was really good looking, and so were all his friends, but he stood out the most to you. Not just because your dog was currently attacking him.

When you got closer to the scene, you realised that the boy was laughing hysterically while Teddy licked him. You ran up to them and grabbed Teddy's collar. The boy scooted backwards, his hair flicked everywhere. You put Teddy on his lead.

"Oh, I'm so sorry! He's only a puppy. He's not very well trained yet!" You looked at him giving an apology. "He really likes balls." You said and then you realised how bad that sounded.

One of the boys spoke up. "So does Mingyu but he doesn't attack me for them." There were a few snickers and a defensive 'hey!' Made by, who you thought was, Mingyu.

You ignored them and turned to the boy who was sitting on the floor. "Are you okay? Did Teddy hurt you in anyway?"

"Teddy?" He asked with his eyebrows raised.

"Oh I-it's the dogs name." You told him embarrassed, you thought it was good name until now.

You were surprised when the boy turned to the dog and praised him. "Teddy! Teddy. Aren't you a good boy?!" He rubbed his coat and you couldn't help but smile. "Now I know your name, do you think I can know your owners?" He turned to you with a soft smile.

"Oh, ah- my names Y/N." You giggled at his cuteness.

He rubbed the dogs ears again. "Almost as cute as yours." He turned back to you and stood up. "My names Minghao. It's really nice to meet you." He extended his hand and you shock it. His hand enveloped yours just right.

"It's nice to meet you too." By this time the rest of the boys were playing football again. "Well, I better be off. Don't want to be in the way." You started to back away when Minghao grabbed your hand.

"Do you mind if I accompany you around the park? I-I really like dogs." He said trying to make an excuse, because that would be weird if he just asked to join you.

"Uh- sure?" He removed his hand and you started walking. It was quite awkward so you decided to break the silence. "So, have you got a dog?"

He looked at you and smiled regretfully. "No, I don't have the time too. You see I'm in a group called Seventeen. Those were the members, you just met. We all share a dorm and not all of them like dogs."

The 'group' part caught your attention. "Oh, you're in a group? That's so cool. I wish I could be apart of something like that." You thought to yourself.

"Yeah, but still we can't have a dog." You thought he was serious and then he laughed. "I'm sure your boyfriend likes dogs."

You gave him a weird look. "I don't have a boyfriend."

"Oh, well I kind of assumed you did. I-I mean your really beautiful an-and stuff." He clasped his hands together awkwardly.

"You're so awkward. I like that." You picked up a stick and threw it for Teddy.

"You do?" Teddy ran back and gave it to him. Minghao threw it.

"Yeah. Teddy has seemed to have taken a liking to you." You gazed, starstruck.

"Y/N, this may be a little weird. But I think I've taken a liking to you... I'm sorry that's weird. We've only just met. Just forget what I said." He rubbed his hands down his face.

You grabbed his hand and pulled him to a bench. The two of you sat down your hand still together, teddy jumped into the lake.

"You like me? M-me? No ones ever said that to me before, even if we have only just met." He looked up at you and smiled.

"Well, I don't get to see many girls other than fans and you were just so nice early. Something told me that I had to see you again. Would it be really weird if I asked for your phone number?" He ran his hands through his curly hair.

"Sure-"

"You're actually gonna give me it?" His mouth hung open.

"Um- why not?" He confused you.

"Well I kind of went into things a bit quickly. I don't normally do that." You reached for your phone and gave him your number. It looked like you'd just given candy to a baby.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" He kissed your cheek and you inhaled sharply. "Oh sorry, that was way to soon."

"No, it's fine." You smiled and kissed his cheek. Wow what the hell was happening? "Phone me if you ever want to meet up."

"I definitely will." You got up and started heading back to where the rest of the boys were. Minghao grabbed your hands. "I'll see you soon?"

"Yes." You looked down to the floor embarrassed that the rest of the members were watching. "Well, you better go."

"Yeah..." He kept staring at you.

"Go on then!" You slapped his arm and he jumped. He ran over to his friends.

"Guys! I got a girls number!" Everyone cheered for him and group hugged.

You're definitely going to walk your dog more often.
