David's POV
I woke up and saw Kai was still asleep so I changed into my kimono and put on my hat and saw Kai was still asleep then Cole and Jay just burst through the door THAT woke Kai up.
"AH!" Kai yelled as he fell off his bed "ow..." Kai said as he rubbed his head
"Sorry Kai but we were just wondering if we could join your scouting mission" Jay said
"I'm sorry you two but you can't not yet at least" I said
"But we heard that you both could use the help" Cole said as he helped Kai up
"Well... we could use the help" Kai said
"Sooooooooo..." Jay trailed off
"JAY, COLE how many times must I tell you two that you're NOT READY YET!" Wu yelled from outside
"But sensei!" Jay yelled
"COME HERE NOW! And let them have peace" Garmadon yelled
"If I were you two I would obey unless you want to get a punishment" Kai said with a chuckle
Jay and Cole ran outside while Kai burst out laughing I chuckled myself and gave Kai his gi and the sword then Kai did spinjitzu and when he stopped he had his gi on and put the sword away then we went outside and Kai went to the dining room to eat while I went out the temple to warm up after a few minutes Kai came back out with an exhausted Nya and a somewhat hyper Lloyd.
"Good morning you two" I said
"Good morning" Lloyd said
"Well someone's excited" Wu chuckled
"I know as soon as I entered their room Lloyd just zoomed past me" Kai said
Wu chuckled while Garmadon went up to Lloyd and put a hand on his shoulder.
"Why are you excited son?" Garmadon asked
"Because we get to go on the scouting mission now" Lloyd said
"Yeah... about that we uh sorta need to attend the scout alone sorry Lloyd" Kai said
"Indeed we do" I said
"You won't be going anywhere brother!" A voice said
We turned around to see Eliab and the forbidden five holding vengestone chains.
"Are those vengestone chains?" I asked
"Indeed they are brother" Eliab said
Then they threw the vengestone chains at me, Kai, Arman, Wu, Garmadon and Ray but before they could get the second dose we knew we had to get Nya and Lloyd out of here.
"NYA, LLOYD GET OUT OF HERE!" Kai yelled
"But we wanna help!" Lloyd said
"Trust us once you get tangled in these chains there's no getting out" Wu said
Then Eliab and the forbidden five threw the second dose of chains and got the others except Nya and Lloyd.
"But-" Nya got cut off
"Nya, listen to me only you and Lloyd can save us now-" Kai got cut off
