Brother and Sister Time

After Kai, David and Wu went to their room they immediately went to bed because they were exhausted David and Wu were sleeping peacefully but Kai couldn't sleep because he feared what would happen to their master and the world if the darkness took over them so Kai just got up and got a glass of water and went back to bed but even still he couldn't sleep so instead he just went outside to get some air but he was surprised when someone was also there up on the monastery gate so he jumped up there.

Kai chuckled "couldn't sleep too huh?" Kai said startling Nya

"Yeah basically" Nya said

Kai sat down with Nya and looked up at the sky.

"It's beautiful tonight isn't" Kai said

"It is" Nya said

They stared at the sky for while now Nya put her head on Kai's shoulder while Kai put an arm around her and stroking her hair with his hand.

"I miss moments like this" Nya said

Kai looked at her and gave her a questioning hum "what do you mean?" Kai asked

"When we were at the shop and the night skies were clear we used to do stargazing remember?" Nya said

"Oh yeah we used to go outside and just look at the stars without knowing about the true full world" Kai said

Nya just sighed and looked down "yeah but now we're here fighting for our lives sometimes I just wish we never left the shop"

"What makes you say that?" Kai asked

"It's just that everyday it's just training, training and training nonstop and my big brother is now a teacher/student and we just have barely any time together anymore" Nya said

"Nya... things may have changed for the worse and it's true now we have no time together anymore but I wouldn't want my reason to be a ninja to be any other but because of you, Nya the reason why I am a ninja is because of you sure now that's not the only reason but that will be my first and main reason always" Kai said

"Really?" Nya asked

"Really" Kai said

Nya hugged Kai while Kai pulled her closer patting her back while Nya was hugging Kai she pushed her face onto his shoulder hugging him even tighter they stayed in that position a little longer then they pulled away Nya was embarrassed and Kai knows it because her face shows otherwise Kai just smirked.

"No need to be embarrassed Nya" Kai said

"Yeah I guess your right" Nya said

Then Nya put her head on Kai's shoulder half hugging him while Kai put an arm around her as well.

"I love you Kai" Nya said as she closed her eyes

"I love you too Nya" Kai said

After a few moments of silence Nya spoke up

"Kai?"

"Yea?"

"Do you think mom and dad will come back? Or we will find them?" Nya asked

"Well we may never know but I know someday they will or we will but in the meantime it's just us, the team and our masters" Kai said

Suddenly the sun started to rise signaling them that they've been up all night but for them it didn't feel like they hadn't been up all night for them it just felt like a few minutes.

"This is how early you wake up now?" Nya asked

"Yup" Kai said with a chuckle

"It's so early" Nya said
