Kai's POV
"So let me get this straight those four are your children and alternate master David is their grandfather and Wu and Carolin is it are their parents?" I asked
"Correct" alternate master David said
"Well in that case how did you 6 even get here?" Master David asked
"Well someone or should I say some four read a scroll that could open a portal to our counterparts' world" alternate master David said
"And let me guess they went in first?" Sensei Wu asked
"How did you ever know?" Alternate Wu joked
Then our kid counterparts or at least my, Cole, and Jay's counterparts started running around like crazy I think they were playing tag maybe I dunno but I needed to ask another question.
"So if they are brothers like by blood not by bond like us then does that mean in that world I am not family with the Smiths?" I asked
Alternate Wu nodded and Nya saw it and she hugged me and I know what she was thinking so I hugged back.
"Don't worry in this universe I'm your brother" I said
Nya pulled away and wiped her eyes I assumed she was crying a bit.
"Geez Nya why are you crying you know that I'll never leave you right?" I said as I ruffled her hair
"Well in that case I guess we will have to do our scouting mission right now" master David said
"I'll get changed" I said
"I already have my gi with me so I guess... Ninja-Go!" Master David said as he spun into his tornado
"Ninja-Go!" I said as I also spun into my tornado
Then me and master David stopped with our gis on master David grabbed our weapons and tossed me the sword while he unsheathed the sword of his elders that he told me about it was a golden katana with a dragon symbol with the colors red, white, blue and black fused into it and when I went close to master David to get on his dragon I felt something hot on my back.
"Huh? Why does my back feel hot?" I asked
"Oh dear" sensei Wu said
Then everyone looked at me with a worried stare then dad took my sword off my back.
"What?" I asked
"I believe this is the reason Kai" dad said as he showed me the sword's fire power was active
"I think it's because of this" master David said showing me his sword "the red part of the dragon symbol was glowing I guess I haven't used this sword in years that I forgot it can activate the golden weapons"
"Thank goodness your fire resistant Kai because if not you'd be burnt to ash" sensei Garmadon said
"Well I guess so but we should really get going it's almost late noon that means there will be no shadows soon" I said
"Indeed and I'll keep my sword sheathed for now" master David said
"Yeah I'll do the same" I said
Master David formed his dragon and helped me get on then once I settled I felt a bad feeling in my stomach a VERY bad feeling that we'll have big trouble when we get to Ninjago City.
"We will have trouble when we get to Ninjago City" I whispered
"What kind of trouble?" Master David whispered
