"The golden weapons will react to whoever the green ninja is" Kai said

"So what are we waiting for let's get the golden weapons" Jay said

"But where are the weapons? I only see the sword of fire" Zane said

"You're right where are the other golden weapons?" Wu asked

"Why does it matter? Let's just use the sword" Cole said

"It needs to be all four weapons without the other three it won't show who is the green ninja" David said

Then they heard footsteps outside the monastery.

"What was that?" Cole asked

"More like who was that?" Zane asked

"Hold on has anyone seen Lloyd?" Kai asked

They all looked at each other and rushed outside and saw Pythor with Lloyd but it didn't look like they were hanging out of course.

"Lloyd!" Wu said

"Let him go Pythor" Cole said

"Never!" Pythor said "he'll be very useful for my plan" Pythor cackled

Then Pythor slithered off while dragging Lloyd with him Wu tried to run after him but was stopped by David.

"No Wu we mustn't rush in immediately we need a plan" David said

Then suddenly they heard Kai shout from inside the monastery.

"NOOOOOO!" Kai shouted

They all rushed back inside and saw the tragedy a fire began from inside the kitchen while Kai was running back to the kitchen trying to stop it but failed Wu rushed into their room and grabbed the scrolls that weren't burnt and could still be read for they'd be important soon the others rushed to grab the stuff that were important then they went down the stairs of the monastery since they were made of stone and they waited the fire to cool down after a few minutes the fire died down and they went back up and the monastery was in ruins.

"Our home..." Kai said

"Our video games!" Jay said

Wu sighed then the others saw Kai looking around frantically for something but David knew exactly what he was looking for.

"Where is it?..." Kai mumbled

"Where is what Kai?" Nya asked

"Our-" Kai said cut off by a gasp "no..."

David ran towards Kai and saw it the picture of Kai, Ray and Maya with Nya and this picture was Kai's only memory of his parents and that picture was half burnt Kai was trying to keep it together as he stood up.

"Kai..." David trailed off

"First the forbidden five gets released second we get attacked by a random giant snake then Eliab and Garmadon almost killed you and sensei then the Dark Lord almost killed me then I got possessed by a dark spirit then Lloyd gets kidnapped by Pythor to who knows where doing who knows what then the monastery burns down now THIS?!" Kai said as he walked away from the picture

"Kai I know this is hard but we have bigger things at stake we need to focus" Wu said

"How can I focus?!" Kai blurted out "I just- I just can't anymore" Kai broke down

Kai fell to his knees and started crying the others have never seen Kai cry once not even Nya David walked up to Kai and put a hand on his shoulder and Kai started hugging himself.
