The Return Home

After they got back to the monastery David took a look around the monastery "atleast it wasn't burnt down" David chuckled to himself and organized a bit and exercised so he could warm up his inner fighter just in case, it was already like 11:34pm by the time he finished and he finally went to bed in his room which was now Wu's room but it was fine they were family and now both teachers as well. Once it was morning like 3:40am him and Wu started to meditate together so they could see if any danger comes "so far so good for now" David thought.

"It's quite quiet isn't it Wu?"

"Yes it is-"

"Fire strike!" Kai shouted from outside

"I spoke too soon" David said

"Oh my gosh is that the greatest move you've ever seen?" Kai said

Then David and Wu started walking towards the door "stop trying to do it yourself we need to attack as a team" Cole said as Wu opened the doors

"So their not training" David said

Wu just sighed and motioned David to follow him as they walked up to a room which was supposed to be for news from ninjago at least back in David's times but that became different as they were walking up to it.

"Zane why are you wasting your special attack on me?! Your supposed to save it" Jay said as Wu and David walked up to their room "ugh! Fantastic I'm out of lives!"

"Video games?" David whispered

Wu sighed "we're in modern times now" Wu said as he rushed toward the plug

"But the lesson lives on and I'm getting the hang of it" Zane said

"Okay, now!" Cole said

But Wu already unplugged the TV the ninja just whined

"Just because Lord Garmadon escaped through a vortex doesn't mean he won't return one day for the golden weapons of spinjitzu!" Wu said

"But sensei Wu ever since he's been gone Ninjago has had nothing but peace" Zane said

"Yeah peace is boring there's no one to save there's nothing to do" Jay said

"We can train tomorrow" Cole said

"Never put off until tomorrow what can be done today" David said

"Well I was gonna eat this pizza tomorrow so if that's the case" Cole said

"No pizza for you! In order to find your true potential you must train!"

"Um remember when we did a little something called the tornado of creation I thought that was pretty insane!" Kai said

"Oh you four have merely scratched the surface of your true potential there is so much more to unlock you have not even begun to tap into what powers your golden weapons hold" Wu said

"You wanna talk secret powers check this out" Cole said as he used his scythe to plug the TV back

The ninja just grabbed their controllers and continued playing while Wu just looked at David with a concerned face while stroking his beard.
