Chapter 44

Once they arrived to the mansion Rok Soo went straight to Cales room to place him down

The dragons went to Rok Soo's room to sleep so they weren't with the two

That's when Cale woke up and stained at Rok Soo

Rok Soo looked at Cale and said
" sorry did I wake you up"

Cale shook his head

" alright good night I leave now" as Rok Soo got up to leave

Cale grabbed Rok Soo's arm and said
"Please don't leave me please stay"

After Cale said that Rok Soo sighed and made Cale let go of his arm as he walked out the room

Cale was sad and started to cry but he heard the door opened and Rok Soo came back inside the room

Rok Soo climbed onto the bed and put Cale on his lap

Cale turned and faced Rok Soo and put his head on his chest

" hey you don't have to tell me anything if you don't want to but just know I'm always here for you if you want to talk and you don't have to keep your tears in cry if you want to I want to I wont judge you"

With that being said Cale cried he cried his heart out and was in so much pain

And Rok Soo sat there and held him and whispered sweet nothings he said everything except it's fine he knew those words are not something you say to someone that's in pain

An hour passed and Cale stopped crying

" Rok Soo promise you won't hate me if I tell you about my past" said tears still pouring out his eyes

Rok Soo was confused but said
" I won't "

" no Rok Soo you have to swear no matter what I say you wont leave me even if you hate me now okay" Cale was trembling

" I swear" now Rok Soo was convinced something bad happened so Cale to react like this

They sat in silence for a bit before Cale started to speak
" the truth is i dated the crown prince when I was 16"

Rok Soo was shocked  and was about to say something when Cale said something that shocked him to his core

" I knew it I knew you would hate me"

" hey calm down I don't hate you and I don't think less of you I was just shocked I never thought something like that was possible" Rok Soo wasn't sure what to think

Cale looked into rok Soo's eyes and saw sincerity, not mockery or hatred.

Rok Soo didn't know what to think

Not only was Cale and the crown prince together

It  was a secret that no one ever knew because if it was know the nobles would have a field day

That's when it hit him if they had a child we're is that child now it should be about 1 and a half

So Rok Soo asked but he was careful with his words as he knew this was a sensitive topic

" hey Cale can you tell me ... what happened to the child? But if you feel uncomfortable, you don't have to tell me" His voice was soft

Cale bit his lip and said
"She was murdered as soon as she was born"

Rok Soo was shocked and now he was pissed who dare to kill Cales child

" who" has ok Soo's voice was menacing, but can you find comfort in the fact that Rok Soo was upset for his sake

" it was the second prince he said that a child between 2 men was nothing but a cursed existence and shouldn't exist in this world" Cale was trembling remembering that day

" he also said that we don't deserve to be happy. So he sent an assassin in between one of the people who were supposed to be helping deliver, and she was killed right then and there. After that incident, me, and the crown prince stop talking, and we agreed it be best if we split apart, and to protect ourselves I erased everyone's memory of the child." Cale said nothing after that

Rok Soo now knew what to do

He had to kill the second prince and make him regret ever hurting Cale

Rok Soo held Cale tightly in his embrace in a protective bear hug and said
" your very strong to be able to go through all of this alone and thank you for trusting me, and opening up to me. But don't worry now I'll take revenge for you." There was a killing, intent, as well as a dangerous glint in his eye.

Cale smiled and hugged Rok Soo for dear life and said
" thank you Rok Soo so much"
