'Beep beep beep'

Why the fuck this is the way I gotta wake up every damn morning.

"Thiago you need to get up and get ready" I say and shake him.

"Huh? Get ready for what?" He asks.

"Don't you got shit to do today?" I ask him and he shakes his head.

"Nope. Today is my day off" he says and hugs me. I reach over to his phone and turn his loud ass alarm off.

"I thought you was gonna work every day" I say.

"I asked for today off so I could spend time with you today" he says.

Aww that's cute...but

"Oh well later tonight me and Kurtis are going to crash a party" I say and run my hand through his hair.

"You guys can't crash it another day?" He asks.

"How are we supposed to crash it another day? It won't be happening" I tell him.

"Oh come on. My only day off and you'd rather go crash a party?" He asks and I pause before nodding.

"A lil bit..." I say and he sighs.

"Just come with us, it'll be fun" I tell him and he groans.

"Don't start" I say and he shuts up.

"Can't you just stay here with me?" He asks and I shake my head.

"You either coming with me or you staying home" I tell him.

"Fine I'll go with you..." he says and I pat his back.

"You'll be fine. The world is still spinning and it will continue to" I say.

"Yeah as long as I'm in your arms." he says.

"You know I still have yet to see this Kurtis guy you're always hanging out with" he says and I roll my eyes.

"Go to sleep" I say.

"Well what does he look like?" He asks me and I shake my head.

"I don't have any pic-actually I have a video of him in a little grass skirt and a coconut bra" I say and reach for my phone.

"What...?" Thiago asks.

"I told you he's fruity" I say as I get the video. I turn the phone his way and when the video is over I shut my phone off.

"You can't tell me that man is gay" he says.

"What? Look at what he's wearing" I say and show him the video again.

"So? That doesn't mean anything. Rico would do that for free" he says and I giggle knowing that he would too.

I didn't think Kurtis was gay at first either.

"Whatever. It's a costume party by the way" I tell him.

"What are you gonna be?" He asks me.

"Spider-woman if you'll be Spider-Man" I say and he nods.

"Yup sounds good" he says and I close my eyes and go back to sleep.

"Wake up" I hear and someone shakes me. Not someone I know who it is.

"Nooooooooo" I say and push him away and turn to the other side.

"Come on let's go get our costumes" he says and I groan but get up anyway. He takes my hand and pulls me up out of the bed.
