Harper Lee once said: "She did not stand alone, but what stood behind her, the most potent moral force in her life, was the love of her father."

The sun beat down on us as Sunbright began to talk to me.

"I don't think it's fair that you fell in love with multiple people without even knowing it."

I laughed at that. "Well, I don't think it's fair that you didn't know that there were multiple people in the first place."

"Touché."

"So, what do we do?"

She paused for a few moments.

"I mean, as long as it's okay with you and everyone else, those who want to be in a relationship with you could."

"You mean like a polyamorous relationship?"

"Yeah. You would have to check with Amelia, though. She's always got some rules, and she is the one you met in the first place and agreed to marry."

Amelia came out to talk, and to my surprise, she was okay with what we had decided.

"All of this is so confusing to me- I can't imagine what it must be like for you. I think you should be allowed to love whoever you want. Of course, as long as you tell me." She had said.

"I still want to be yours."

"And you are! I guess I wouldn't mind if I had to share you with my other personalities."

That was mostly the extent of it, besides for Sunbright formally asking me out (to which I said yes).

And so the day flew by, the two of us taking care of our three kids. Everything was exactly how it was meant to be. Although Emily seemed very distant from Jason, which was understandable in light of what she had endured. His jet-black hair and piercing green eye always affected her (his other eye was a scarlet color).

I had caught a few glances from Amelia, who seemed to be admiring me from afar. I wondered for a moment how she saw me- or if she knew how I saw her. I saw her as gorgeous; as a mystical force that drew me in with her beauty. Her physical beauty wasn't all that was attractive to me; her caring and joyful nature made any room that she walked into light up.

"What are you thinking about, Sugar?" Amelia smiled at me, wrapping her small arms around my torso.

"Just how beautiful you are," I whispered, gently kissing her forehead.

She giggled, leaning into my touch. We stayed there in each other's arms for a while. I watched as slowly, Amelia stopped smiling, and she started to stare right at my chest.

Spencer was holding me in his arms with a concerned look on his face. I smiled at him in greeting.

"Hey, Lover Boy."

He grinned at me, recognizing my voice. "Hey, Emily."
