(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

I walked outside, on a beautiful sunny day. I had a couple thousand bells in my pocket, ready to spend. Crazy Redd was in town today, and I wanted to buy some more paintings for the museum.

While walking towards Crazy Redd's shop, I met up with Cherry along the way. I told her I was going to Crazy Redd's and she suddenly got upset.

"What's wrong?", I asked. "Redd always scams his customers out of money.", she pouted. "Except for you, for some reason!" Except for me? I never knew Redd stole money from his customers...but...why didn't he treat me like a normal customer?

Redd's P.O.V.

"Thanks a lot...", I said sarcastically, as yet another customer walked out without buying anything. I think people are starting to catch on to my scam. I wonder if (Y/N) will be here today...

Every time I came to this town, (Y/N) would always come to see me. I always sold real artifacts to him for low prices because...truth is...I like him. But I'd never tell him that!

After the other customer left, (Y/N) walked in. I immediately tensed up, and got extremely nervous! "Redd, need to talk.", he stated flatly. Oh no...

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

"What do you mean?", Redd chuckled, nervously. "I heard you're selling people fake items?", I said sternly. "Yeah...", Redd mumbled. "I'm not the best person to be around..." Now I felt a little bad, but I had one more question.

"And why have you never sold me a piece of fake art?", I asked, giving him a confused look. "Just lucky, I guess?", he chuckled. I just shrugged it off and went to look at the paintings.

Once I found a painting I didn't have, I took out my bells. "I'll take this one!", I said, handing Redd the bells. "You don't want that one!", he exclaimed. "Why not?", I asked. "Because...", he muttered a response. I just looked at him, now more confused. "Because..."

"Redd?", I asked, feeling concerned. "Because I like you!", he blurted out. This took me by surprise. He liked me? Me?!

"I'm sorry!", he shouted as he headed towards the door. I grabbed his arm and held him back. I pulled him back and embraced him with a big hug. "I love you...", I whispered in his ear. He chuckled.

"I love you too..."
