Jake and Sunghoon have been friends along with Jay. It all started when they met each other in an ice skating competition wherein Sunghoon's one of the contestants as Jake and Jay were watching with their respective families.
It is obvious that Jake and Sunghoon's have a greater bond since Jay left to go to the states but now they're working on getting that time they didn't have with Jay. They were also aware of the kidnapping case that Jay went to and even participated to find him.
Three of them differ with each other but one thing's for sure that they'll always have each other's back when things get hard.
But Sunghoon surely hides something in his heart for Jake, the one he considers as his soulmate.
And for the last song, the band started to play a love song that made the crowd silent to enjoy the song.
Sunghoon secretly glanced at Jake and smiled seeing that Jake's enjoying the music with a smile.
He can't help but to whisper his thoughts in that moment for his soulmate. "I really believe that we're soulmates, Jake. We're similar with our likes and even to our dislikes. Even teasing Jay, we're still on the same page so, I hope we'll still have this relationship between us. You've been my greatest buddy along with Jay so, I hope you won't get tired having me by your side"
Jake immediately looked at him, feeling the warmth of Sunghoon's words for him. "Why would I get tired when I'm the happiest when you're always with me? I'm more grateful to have you, Hoon''
Jake knew at that moment that Sunghoon will always be someone who's important to him and someone he wants to stay with.
Sunghoon tries multiple times to confess his feelings but he's afraid with the fact that he might ruin their friendship, even involve Jay if ever things don't work out.
Sunghoon would take Jake out to shop or just eat outside but Jake would always take it as a 'friendly' gesture to him.
That gave him another reason not to confess his feelings.
