Once Vince finished his breakfast was a knock at the door. He opened the door with a grudge. He was about to cuddle with Rue but someone had to come to the door. It was an old black man that looked like an older version of Jason. On his jacket it had B.K.M.

"May I help you sir?"

"I know you. Not only did you engage my grand baby you almost got her killed."The man fist had tighten.

"Just who in the hell are you?" Vince started to get angry now. The man was wasting his time.

"Obviously, if you can read boy I'm Kane Morgan. Rue's grandfather." Kane stood at the door. Rue called him and told him the good news. Seeing that the only thing he does nowadays is check up on her and make sure she has the best protection. Why do you think her security detail was so good?

"Rue has never told me about you."Vince raised an eyebrow. 

"I told her not to. I have been observing you from afar. Get my own observations about your personality."

"Vince, who is at the door?"Rue came down stairs rubbing her eyes. Then when she got a clear visual she became energized. "GRAND DADDY!" Rue ran to hug him and nearly knocking Vince to the ground.

"Damn, Rue watch where you going next time please."Vince said.

"Well, Next time you need to move out the way." Kane said. "Now Rue, I have ran out of that-"

"Don't worry grandaddy I got you a big pitcher of it in the fridge."Rue said and cupped his face.

"Yessss," Kane said and started to walk in the house and pushed Vince aside. "Move out the way boy. I have been waiting on this Kool-Aid for about 3 weeks."

"What is so special about kool-aid? Couldn't you just go to the store and buy it yourself."Vince said little bit upset. He was hurt that Rue never told him about Kane.
"I like how Rue makes her, just the right about of diabetes in it."Kane said while he poured him a cup. He left the pitcher out on the counter because he knew that he was going to pour him another cup.

Rue laughed. "Grandaddy you crazy."

"It's the truth."

"How is my step-grandma?"

"Lola is doing good. She said that she wanted to go to lunch sometime with you. So she can get that grandma fill to it."

"Does Jason know that you have remarried?" Rue asked.

"Naw, I haven't talk to that boy since family dinner. You know he always on his ho ass mama side."

"Well Damn." Vince put his hand over his heart. He saw where Rue got her behavior from.

"Jack and Joel know though. After they contacted to catch up and they didn't know why me and Francis divorce. Ever since then they have been talking to me ever since." Kane said. "I didn't come here for that matter though."

"What's the matter grandaddy?" Rue said finally sitting on the stool.

"I need to talk to this boy here alone." Kane pointed at Vince.

"I don't know grand-"

"It's alright Rue, Jessie is in the other room." Vince told her and kissed her on her forehead. Rue shrugged her shoulders and when into the other room.

"Rue, I know you eavesdropping go to another room and shut the door." Kane yelled. Rue stomped her foot and went into another room and shut the door. "Now you."

"Now me." Vince sat across from Kane.

"I don't know how you convinced my baby to love you but you got her to say yes to you."
