18. The Battle Of Hogwarts

A/n: So I have worked today (10-18-22) all day on this book and right now I am working on pt. 24, the end isn't near, I think, but anyway, I got a major idea this morning so be prepared!

-Y/n's pov-

I walk away from the death eaters, into the forest. Once I am far enough I reach in my pocket, grabbing my snitch, I look around

'god they're gonna hate me for this' I mutter, I look at it and the text appears I open at the close 'I am ready to die... Are You?' I whisper, closing my eyes. I let the snitch fly away, Harry needs it. 

-Harry's pov-

I walk through the forest, towards Voldemort, but then a snitch appears in front of me, landing in my hands  'I am ready to die... Are You?' I hear Y/n's voice, I look at it and the text appears I open at the close 

I close my eyes 'I am...' I whisper, I open them again and the snitch opens, a black, tiny stone appears, it starts to float in the air and I grab it, I close my eyes and hold it against my chest. I then open my eyes and they widen, my mother, my father, Sirius, Remus

my mother reaches her arm towards me and I walk towards her, reaching out to her hand but mine goes through her hand 'you've been brave, sweetheart' she says

I look at them 'Why are you here? All of you?' I ask 'We never left.' my mother says, I look around 'Does it...? Does it hurt? Dying?' I ask 'Quicker than falling asleep.' Sirius answers 'You're nearly there, son.' my father says 

'I'm sorry. I never wanted any of you to die for me. And, Remus, your son...' I start but Remus interrupts me 'Others will tell him what his mother and father died for. One day, he'll understand.' he says 

'You'll stay with me?' I ask 'Until the end.' my father says 'and he won't be able to see you?' I ask 'no. We're here, you see.' Sirius answers 

'and Y/n?' I ask 'she won't' my mother answers 'Stay close to me.' I say 'always' my mother says. I let the stone fall on the ground.

-Y/n's pov-

I am waiting next to Bella and Cissa, waiting, not knowing if Harry is going to listen to me or not. 

'No sign of him, my Lord.' a death eater says who just appeared, Bella walks over to my father and they're walking forward as the death eater quickly walks to his place 

'I thought he would come.' my father says 

He turns around and starts walking towards me, but suddenly stops his tracks, lifting his head. Gasps are drawn and I see Harry coming in view. 

Bella quickly walks towards us and wraps her arms around my waist, preventing me to go anywhere 

'I'll be fine, Bella' I say to her but she just chuckles darkly in my ear 'oh, I know' she says 'Harry? No! What are you doing here?' Hagrid shouts 

'quiet!' one of the death eaters shouts back at Hagrid 

'Harry Potter. The Boy Who Lived. Come to die.' my father says, he looks at me before looking back at Harry 'AVADA KEDAVRA!' he shouts and I see white, all white. 

'Harry. Y/n, you two are so loved. So loved. Harry, Y/n, Mama loves you. Dada loves you. Y/n, Harry, be safe. Be strong.' Lily whispers, looking at baby Harry and I, I look down at the crib and see the small hands of Harry and I interlocked.

I look up at Lily who stands up, I see my father coming in view 'AVADA KEDAVRA!' he shouts points towards us, only to be blocked by Lily.  

The light disappears and I see Harry's limp body laying on the ground. I then look at my father, he's also on the ground 'dad!' Mattheo and Tom shout, everyone walks towards my father and I start to back away, I look around, I am a horcrux..?
