Chapter 62 - The Party

      Dog rushed for Bodhi. His legs shot out and were ready to tear into the old demon who didn't flinch once.

      As if silently commanding Zankora, she rushed out just in time as Dog approached and blocked his many legs with her large arms. The sharpened end of each leg collided with the hard surface of her blackened arms that worked like a shield.

       He swung two of his lower legs down toward her waist but she was quick enough to grab them and swing his body away from Bodhi. She teleported to where Dog was just as he got up to charge her again.

       (Y/N) struggled under Bodhi's hold. She couldn't move anything, not even her blood.

       The older demon tsked at the fighting and started to turn to leave, dragging her body with him. (Y/N) panicked and fought against his hold with all her might. Bits of her blood did begin to move but not by a lot.

       Large pieces of the foundation of the building began to break and loudly creek as they were torn off and sent shooting toward Bodhi. Some of them were metal that Bodhi easily deflected with his abilities but some he couldn't control. Zankora during her fight with Dog quickly teleported in front of him to kick the debris away with her long legs. From the force of her kick, the pieces collapsed and rained over (Y/N).

       Without missing a beat, Zankora went back to attacking Dog before he could lay a single claw on the old demon who continued dragging (Y/N) away.

       He wasn't even trying to fight. Knowing that Zankora will come to his defense at every possible second.

        Yama grunted at this and tried to keep out of Bodhi's sight among the upper floors. All the old demon had to do was control the iron in Yama's blood and it'll be the end of him.

"Uhh, Yama?" Came the voice of B who was sticking close to the demon but turned to see several Elitists rushing toward them and some even entering the throne room to help their leader.

        He saw this and quickly used several amounts of debris and furniture to deter the Elitists who had to avoid getting hit. This was all straining his right hand but he ignored the pain through his adrenaline.

       B spotted the biggest Elitist in the group and a plan came to mind. "Distract them for me."

"What?" Yama questioned as he was busy trying to hold the Elitists back but was running out of objects to throw.

"Just distract them!" B ran off soon after, leaving Yama alone to ward them off. He didn't know what she was planning but he couldn't much as two Elitists dodged his attacks and rushed toward him. He lifted himself up to avoid their hits and kicked them away before slamming their heads with his ability into the uneven floor.

       The biggest of the group charged after him next and went to swing their giant fist at him when B jumped out and onto their back. This threw the demon off as they swung around and tried to fling her off but B gripped onto their head and pulled herself up until her glowing yellow eyes made contact with theirs. The Elitist froze up as their vision clouded over and when the others went to help them, they growled intensely and swung their fist down at them instead. B jumped down and backed away toward Yama to push them out of sight.

        They'll just let the entranced demon do the work for them.

        Yama recognized what she was doing as she kept her eyes on the large Elitist that confused its companions and attacked them. He's seen her mother do it before.
