"He's waking up," a familiar female voice said.

I opened my eyes, and saw I was back in my room, on my bed, with Steve, Josh, Samantha, Issac Smith, and Dylan Davis in different parts of the room, waiting for me to wake up.

I sat up, and asked "Did... did I get knocked out?"

"Yes," Dylan said as I looked at Samantha, who had a bandage wrapped around her forehead.

"I... I'm not sure whether to be shocked that I'm back here, or that Samantha's here and not in solitary confinement."

"Oh, trust me, Cooper tried to get her there," Josh said, trying to hold back a chuckle.

I felt a sudden pain in my forehead, so I caressed it as I asked "Why is my head pounding?"

"Must be a side effect of getting hit with a non-organic electricity blast," Steve explained.

"Why does getting hit with electricity... affect me like that? I mean, I couldn't even use my powers after I got hit."

"None of us are sure. I do believe it might have something to do with you being part Knuman."

"And... why am I not in a hospital bed? Why am I in my room?"

"Well, to be honest, it's where we found you. And we didn't bring you back to the hospital area, since we figured you'd have no problem recovering on your own," Dylan said.

"You were even tucked under the sheets," Issac commented, making me blush.

...

"What about Samantha?"

"I woke up inside an unoccupied quarters, and apparently somebody had already convinced the government I was on their side," Samantha explained.

Everybody looked at each other, until Samantha added "Only Josh knows who it was."

I looked at Josh, and after noticing me looking at him, he said "It's better I don't tell you, and that you find out on your own. Trust me."

...

"So, are you ready to continue your training," Steve said.

"Yeah, I am," I said as I was about to get up.

"Actually, I'd like to train him," Samantha said.

Steve looked at Samantha, then back at me, and then with no hesitation he said "Okay."

"Wait, what? That's it? No offense to you Samantha, but you're seriously just dropping my training off with the first person who asks to train me?!"

Steve didn't say anything. He just walked out of the room before I could yell at him more.

Josh put his hand in my shoulder and said "Look, I'm sorry to say this, but you'll just have to accept he doesn't want to train you."

Then, Josh whispered playfully in my ear "Besides, wouldn't you like a chance to get to know Samantha more?"

I whispered back "Look, I am gonna be okay with Samantha training me, I just... I'd like to get to know my uncle more."

Josh nodded, and then he, Issac and Dylan exited my quarters, leaving only me and Samantha.

"So... do you have any simulation rooms, or anything like that," Samantha asked awkwardly.

"Yeah, quite a few... follow me," I answered equally awkwardly.

We went to the elevator and went to the training floor, and had an awkward silence as we waited for the elevator to reach its destination.

Once it stopped, we went to the third training room. We got to the automatic doors, and Samantha went through, but I stopped after feeling a strange energy. I walked up to the wall next to the door and placed my hand on it, allowing me to feel the electricity inside the training room, and the memories along with it.
