I hate the extra unnecessary notes authors shove in, but I kinda understand why. Many people have inboxed me complaining:

I’m addressing the some percentage of people who did take the effort out to message me.

Well yes if you put it like that. But he did propose and wanted to respectfully ask for her hand in marriage from her parents

That’s nasty marrying your brother in law

She’s putting Muslims to shame

She’s fictional

You’re promoting abuse and stereotyping that all Muslim family men beat their wife’s

At what point in the story was a woman beaten by her husband, do comment.

Muslims are not allowed to have boyfriend/girlfriend

I have no smart come back for this other than it’s a fictional book, god damn.
