"Because lady Nana, my father is Ying Yi Ren, the Public Censor of Shilli which is no more so i guess that makes him a nobody which doesn't matter now, what partially matters is that he's the best friend of a traitor, your father ..Kim Shi Huang.

"Yes, I told him ..alright, and before you say anything just hear me out please; Jandi said when I wanted to yell at her for telling her father our secret and then she continued. "The Emperor of Mandir was said to come from your mother's lineage. 

Your grandfather was the king of Shilli, he borne no son, had only your mother so he got her married at a very early age to your father, which made your father become the king when your grandfather died ..when your mother had you, you were instantly referred to as the future Emperor of Mandir but then your gender was confirmed once the midwifes came out.

We all didn't know if to celebrate or mourn as your birth was supposed to be more blessing.

Living in Shilli became a nightmare. I can still remember my father's face, he looked so destroyed ..he wanted to save you all but he couldn't. 

You're his god daughter Nana and his best friend's only daughter ..so when we heard that you're in the palace, that the now Empress brought you back, my father pleaded for me to come and work in the palace so that I will take care of you which I did ..but you were always sad. 

You wouldn't smile, you wouldn't talk if I talked to you. You hated people, you hated every person that's in front of you and that's why you didn't recognize me when Kyung-sook brought you back to the palace for you to marry the Empress.

When Kyung-sook took you away, I wanted to go back to my father because we thought you were dead ..we thought she had killed you but my father insisted that I should stay in case there's any chance that you're alive and I couldn't afford going through the trail I did just to work as one of Mandir's trusted servants." Jandi finished then began looking at me ..waiting for me to say something, ask tons of questions but her words got to me. I didn't know almost all the things she just said to me.

"Why didn't she tell me all this earlier?." I asked myself, but if she had told me what difference would it have made, but then again why is she telling me this now?

"Jandi, what else are you not telling me?" I asked while looking her in the eyes.

"When I told my father that Kim Shi Huang is indeed the traitor ..he became so angry, he disagreed with others Lady Nana and I'm sure that if he were to bet his life just to prove your father's innocence, he would have and now him learning that Kim Shi Huang is indeed a traitor, he's mourning in pain and he wants me to come back after I tell you that you should survive because you're a good child but it's time for me to live my own life."

"I don't want you to go Jandi." I plead while holding her hands.

"I don't want to, lady Nana because I want Kyung-sook to pay for her crimes too and I want our kingdom back because our king is alive, we still have a king and he is Min-jun."

"I don't know what to do Jandi ..how are we going to get Kyung-sook to pay for her crimes?" I asked, hoping that Jandi should have a plan.
