"Lady Nana, of course you know Kyung-sook isn't the Empress's biological mother." Jandi said which made me shake my head no repeatedly and then I found myself sitting down dumbly and at the same time pulling my brother down to sit beside me, while I hit myself with my left hand on the head and calling myself sluggish.

"The late Empress died just thirty minutes after birthing Empress Ruyi. On her dying bed she made Kyung-sook the Empress's god mother due to their closeness but this shouldn't change how you behave around Kyung-sook and don't go telling Kyung-sook that you know that she's not the Empress's biological mother so that makes her a common person because even though she's not from royalty, she can still eat you, swallow you or vomit you Nana.

Yes, I'm saying this to scare you because I don't want you fighting her Nana. I don't want her coming after you." Min-jun said while holding my hands and looking me in the eyes worriedly.

He doesn't want me getting hurt but although I haven't started fighting Kyung-sook, I know we're already at war. She doesn't like me, she had hated me since the very first day she brought me inside the palace and had told me to be telling her everything the Empress does, who she meets with and even what she says.

I had agreed then because she agreed to let me go see my brother but when I realized how evil she is, I stopped doing it. I'm not going to tell my brother all this though because it will make him more worried than he is already.

"How do you know all this?" I asked curiously.

Min-jun looked at me then Jandi and then back at me again, asking me with his eyes if it's safe to have a secret conversion in front of Jandi and I replied to him by nodding my head yes.

"She's the traitor Nana." He said and for some reasons this new information doesn't surprise me at all.

No wonder she wants my brother dead but some things I heard that happened that day still confuses me so I asked my brother.

"But Min-jun, if Kyung-sook is the traitor then how come the late Emperor's men caught father with his troop inside the building the late Emperor's built for his wife and the late Emperor was spending the night there that day like he always does whenever it his wife's death anniversary." I asked trying to think of a way someone would have set my father up but still finds none ..I guess the people that set him up are so smart and conning.

"Because dad is also a traitor too Nana; my brother said making me look up at him to know if he has lost his mind but he isn't even laughing like a crazy person or laughing like he's joking, beside why will he laugh or joke with something that's so serious ..wait, he's serious but.. But why?

Why will father want to kill the late Emperor when he also didn't agree with our marriage? ..he even made our little kingdom rich because of this ..so why?

And why will he work with Kyung-sook?" I mused, so confused but it seems like my brother can read my mind as he begins to explain but the more he explains the more I become more confused.

"Kyung-sook and Father where lovers, no one else knows about this Nana ..not even mother and please don't go fighting Kyung-sook, she's a very conning woman and I think she's the one who set our village on fire just so no one will try to investigate the issue and have her name included on the traitors list." My brother said then began hugging me when he noticed that I'm now crying.

"Don't cry Nana, things just happen, look at me ..I too thought Father was innocent, I thought someone framed him and I sneaked into the palace to rescue him just to find out that he's willing to die for their mission.

They're planning something Nana, they're planning something big and Kyung-sook is not alone."
