'It's time for...' Scout was saying ominously as you opened the door to the Rec Room. It was 9:00 pm. The lights were off and Scout had a torch underneath his face as if he were telling a ghost story, sat in a circle with everyone else. He looked up in surprise, squinting through the darkness. 'Hit the lights, will ya?' He called out to you, and you did. He grinned when he saw it was you. 'I thought you were Spy! Take a seat, we were just about to start!'

You pulled up a chair and joined the circle. At least Spy isn't here. You thought in relief, squeezing into a gap between Scout and Medic. You noticed that Sniper and Pyro also weren't there, and it was no surprise when you heard what Scout said next.

'Anyways, as I was sayin', it's time foooor...' There was a long dramatic pause. 'Truth or Dare!' A few of the mercenaries cheered, and you raised an eyebrow at Scout.

'You still play that?'

'Weekly event, pal.' He said winking at you. 'It's gonna be more interestin' with a girl here, though!' More cheers.

'Um, nothing sexual please, OK?' You asked quickly, and Scout burst out laughing.

'Course not, why would ya think that?' He said between laughs, and you held your hands up in defence.

'Just making sure!'

'A'ight, let's start with Demo!' He clapped him on the back.

'Uh...truth.'

'What's the most stupid thing you've done in battle?'

'It was one 'a Heavy's dares actually. I went up and flirted with the enemy Spy. You shoulda seen the look on his face! Anyway, he shot me in the face.' Demo laughed, and everyone else joined in. You could imagine it, Demo going up and saying something feeble like "Bonjour, good-lookin''', and the Spy's look of horror before he put a bullet in Demo's head. You snorted at the thought of it. Before long, the game was in full swing with stupid dares and embarrassing truths all around. They skipped you out for the first couple of rounds so that you could 'get the feel of what it was like'. You certainly did, as you dared Scout to let Heavy do up his hair with one of your hairbands and wear it like that for the rest of the game - he ended up with a short ponytail sticking out the top of his head which resembled a short palm tree. Nobody could look at him without stifling a laugh for the first few minutes. Engie was dared to sing "Let It Go" in falsetto by Demo, and Medic chose truth. Scout asked his something that made your ears perk up, you kinda wanted to know this too.

'How did you lose your medical lisence?'

Medic stiffened up slightly, and Heavy yelled. 'Rules are rules! It not zat embarassing, I know it!'

'Oh, vell then.' Medic coughed, straightening up. 'There vas this doctor. He vas experimenting on a patient for a vhile, and eventually ze patient vent under anaesthetic. Vhen ze patient voke up, his entire skeleton vas missing, and ze doctor vas never heard from again.' He looked around nervously.

'Well, who was this doctor?' Engie asked eagerly, and Medic looked at the ground sheepishly.

'Me.' He said quietly, and the whole room went silent.

'Wait, you...you took his entire skeleton?' Asked Scout incredulously.

'Ja.' Said Medic, eyes fixed on the floor.

'That's so AWESOME!' Scout shouted, and Medic looked at him in surprise. 'You took it out and he was alive 'n' everythin'?'

'Um...ja?' Medic said, slightly confused by now. You guessed nobody had ever reacted like this when he recounted this story.
