@MelissaNugget thx so much! for the idea and I really hope you like it!!! thanks for reading all these cheesy stories! love ya all!

I had unfortunately caught a cold, and it had hit me hard. As I lay in bed, I couldn't help but feel miserable with my runny nose, pounding headache, and the general feeling of being unwell. It was far from enjoyable, and I was being sarcastic when I thought about how much fun it was.

Just then, my phone buzzed, and it was a text from my boyfriend Walker. He was known for his dry text messages and never used emojis, but he was asking if I was okay. Despite his lack of enthusiasm, it was still a nice gesture. I responded, telling him the truth: I felt terrible. I had no energy to do anything, and my parents would scold me if I tried to do anything productive. So, I decided to close my eyes and take a nap, hoping to feel better when I woke up.

As I lay in bed, my body aching and my throat sore, I heard the door to my room creak open. "Mama! I'm fine, no more kisses!" I called out, thinking it was my mother coming to check on me. But then a familiar voice responded. "Aw, man! I mean, I thought I could get at least one kiss," said Walker. I was surprised to see him standing there, holding a bowl of hot soup and a glass of water.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, my voice hoarse from coughing. I tried to sit up but immediately regretted it as a sharp pain shot through my body. Walker quickly stepped forward to help prop me up with pillows. " I wanted to come over and make sure you were okay," he explained, his concern evident in his voice.

I couldn't help but smile at his kindness, but then I started to cough again. "I could get you sick," I explained between coughs. "You shouldn't be here." But Walker just shook his head. "I'll be fine. I'm not leaving until I know you're feeling better." And with that, he handed me the bowl of soup and glass of water, settling in to keep me company until I was back on my feet.

I was feeling unwell and he insisted on feeding me soup, despite my repeated attempts to explain that I could manage on my own. Though I appreciated his gesture, I still felt terrible, and he could see that. He placed his palm on my forehead and exclaimed, "You're burning up!" with a look of deep concern on his face. I was unsure if the warmth I felt was due to his touch or my fever, but either way, it was unbearable.

Dealing with this sickness was challenging, and I wanted to resist when he gently pushed me onto his chest, making me lie down. However, I was too weak to put up a fight. He then began stroking my hair and playing with it, and as he did so, I felt a sense of calm wash over me.

''thank you, Walker. For everything" I said in a weak voice and he kissed the top of my head "Anything for you" he said so sweetly that I almost forgot I was sick.
