Percy Pov:

I couldn't shake off the worry I had for Y/n. The thought of her being in danger made me feel like my bones were shaking. I just had to know if she was okay after what happened - waking up in the tallest tree without remembering how she got there.

As I ventured towards the cabin where she resided, a sense of anticipation and nervousness crept over me. My heart began to race as I approached her, and when she finally laid eyes on me, a smile of recognition and warmth lit up her face.

However, upon closer inspection, I noticed a hint of sadness in her eyes, a glimmer of pain that belied her cheerful exterior. Without hesitation, I made my way over to her and asked her how she was doing, hoping to provide some comfort and support.

As I approached her, I could sense that something was bothering her. I asked her gently if she was okay and sat down next to her. Being so close to her made my heart skip a beat. She let out a soft sigh and replied, "I was trying to connect with my dad or stepdad, whatever you call it." I could sense how annoyed she was at the thought of Hades, and it was clear that she didn't have a good relationship with him.

It was strange to think that the girl I had a crush on was my cousin, but we were all related by magic only. Luke had told me that her parents were not related to the gods like the rest of us.

She looked me straight in the eye and spoke firmly, "I know for a fact that it was he who sent me up the tree." As she said this, I could see a small smile playing on her lips. My heart skipped a beat at the sight of her smile, and I felt a sudden warmth in my chest.

"Thank you for saving me," she said, her voice soft and gentle. She took my hands into hers and I felt a jolt of electricity run through my body. I struggled to keep my composure as my heart started racing, making it hard to breathe.

I stuttered out a response, my heart pounding in my chest as she giggled. "Yeah, no problem," I finally managed to say, my voice shaking slightly. She looked at me with a gentle smile and I felt myself getting lost in her eyes. "I mean it, Percy," she said, her tone serious. I nodded, trying to keep my composure, but I couldn't help feeling like a nervous wreck.

Suddenly, I blurted out a question, hoping to distract from my own embarrassment. "Did you hear about what happens if you win to capture the flag?" The moment the words left my mouth, I wished I could take them back. But then she leaned closer to my face, her eyes shining with curiosity, and I found myself unable to look away. My face went beet red as I struggled to keep my cool, feeling like I was about to faint from the intensity of the moment.

As I sat there, my heart beating faster than ever before, she leaned towards me and whispered, "Yeah, you win a kiss." I couldn't help but lean in too, drawn to her like a moth to a flame. The scent of sweet flowers filled the air, making me feel dizzy with desire.

As we got closer, she spoke again, her voice barely above a whisper, "Although if you really wanted to kiss something I think you should... you know..." My mind raced with possibilities as I tried to decipher what she meant. But before I could even ask, she looked up at me with a mischievous glint in her eye, and I knew exactly what she was hinting at.

Without thinking, I reached out and tucked her hair behind her ear, my fingers brushing against her skin. I couldn't resist the temptation any longer and cupped her face in my hands. She leaned into my touch, her eyes closing along with mine then we heard voices and we moved away from each other.

As I sat there, my heart racing and my mind clouded with thoughts of what had just almost happened between me and Y/n, I couldn't help but feel a wave of nervousness wash over me. I could feel my face flushing, and I knew that Y/n could see it too. She let out a sigh and looked away, clearly feeling just as flustered as I was.

"We... should get ready for the game," she said, her voice soft and unsure.

I didn't want her to leave. I wanted to stay there with her, to bask in the warmth of her presence for just a little while longer. But I knew that she was right. If someone caught us -- especially Luke, who had made it clear that he had his eye on Y/n -- we would be in big trouble.

So, with a heavy heart, I got up from my seat and began to gather my things, trying to push aside the thoughts and feelings that were still swirling around inside me. As I walked out the door with Y/n, I couldn't help but wonder what might have been if we had just given in to our impulses. But I knew that for now, at least, we had to keep our feelings hidden and stay focused on the game ahead.

In the evening, we all gathered to play a game. As soon as it started, I could hear Clarisse screaming at the top of her lungs. The sound startled me, but I tried to stay focused. Y/n was standing next to Luke, and I could feel the green-eyed monster creeping up on me known as jealousy

. He was deep in conversation with her, and I found myself wishing I could hear what they were talking about. However, before I could linger on my thoughts any longer, Annabeth pulled me away and got me ready for my part in her plan. Despite my best efforts, my mind kept wandering back to Y/n, and I found myself distracted throughout the game.

The situation I found myself in was not good. I had been attacked and was struggling to defend myself against Clarisse, a formidable opponent. Just when things seemed like they couldn't get any worse, Y/n appeared out of nowhere and saved me. It was truly amazing to see her fight. Her movements were graceful and fluid, like that of a ballerina dancer. However, even with Y/n's help, we both sustained injuries during the fight.

In order to get away from our attacker, we rushed to the beach hoping to find refuge. It was then that Y/n turned to me and said, "we just need to keep this up." At first, I wasn't quite sure what she meant by this, but soon it became clear. We needed to keep fighting and not give up, even in the face of great danger.

As we were catching our breath and assessing our injuries, a strange man holding a flag appeared on the scene. He was covered in flowers, no, made of flowers and vines, and seemed to be mumbling to himself. It was a surreal moment in an already surreal situation.

During the event, our team gave it our all, but unfortunately, we were initially declined as the winners. However, Chiron, who was overseeing the competition, realized that two teams were needed for the final round. As the tension rose and my nerves were at an all-time high, I saw Luke staring at me and Y/n.

Suddenly, Chrion announced, "Y/n and Percy are the main winners!" The crowd erupted in cheers, and I couldn't help but feel a rush of excitement and pride. I blushed at the thought of the prize, but my heart swelled with joy. However, Luke seemed to be in a hurry and rushed off without congratulating us, leaving me feeling a bit guilty. Nevertheless, I was thrilled to have a reason to celebrate with Y/n.

As the man of flowers handed her the flag, she smiled at me, and I knew that this was a moment I would never forget. But the drama that night was hard to forget as I tripped into the water moments after winning the game
