Everything that happened led to this very moment. And now... They stand together, looking at each others eyes, searching for the truth
It all happened suddenly and they were aware of this. They knew how weird it was
Especially since they were trying to kill eachother a few years ago
They lost people they cared about but that was never the end
Both of them knew that no matter what happened they'd find each other
And now they're at the journeys end. They finally found themselves and their feelings. No matter what happened... They wouldn't let go of this moments
"Yes..." (Y/N) said while looking down "I did mean what I said..."
Silence fell over, it appears that they're still awkward about this
"Then..." The boy looked down, his bangs pulling a shadow over his face
(Y/N) slowly raised her head to look at the boy she cared about
She was so, so in love... And it was so so weird...
Once Dark Pit raised his head (Y/N) was met with a sight she never thought she could see
The normally stoic and cold boys face was painted over with red as he stared at the girl
"I-" He wanted to speak, he really wished to do that, but nothing could come out
He could only hear the sound of his heartbeat banging at his ears. He was so, so in love... And it was so, so weird...
"I can't do this!" He yelled as he turned his back to the girl, visibly trembling from the embarrassment he has to go through
"Huh?"
The lovey dovey atmosphere suddenly disappeared as the two stood in deadpan silence, although Dark Pit was still clearly uneasy
A light chuckle came from his behind and it slowly turned into a full blown laughter
"What are you laughing at!" He called out "This isn't funny!"
"Oh no!" She said between her laughs "But it is funny!"
And that was when he realized once more... He really did like her laugh
He kicked at some pebbles on the ground and slightly chuckled to his fist while looking away
"Hypocrite! You're laughing too!" She raised her wings and quickly jumped on him, making the two go down with more shrieks
This shouldn't be how it ends... And yet here they are, in each others arms. They thought they could never have such happines yet here they are, laughing in the middle of nowhere at the top of their lungs
"(Y/N)..." He whispered lightly, cupping her face with his big hands
"What..." She whispered back, completely in shock at his sudden change
He brought her face closer to him... And closer...
He leaned forwards and gave a small peck on her cheek and then pushed her off of him
