The kiss

Shena's POV

That was the last time I have ever saw him. Maybe something important just came up, I said to my guts trying not to overthink.

By now I was still thinking he never meant his words a while ago. There was still this gut feeling in the back of my mind saying that he might be the reason I'll suffer.

Aren't I such a coward by now? I've always got used to the fact that I could never decide independently without my brothers.

I have always been a softy when someone mocks me.

I grew fine with it although my brothers weren't.

Yashena Mayers....

Do I really understand myself?

The cruise stopped at a dock by the same afternoon. By now, I still had no clue where we ported the ship.

Women in black came in my room to assist me as we were going to drive back to his mansion.

"Where is Ivan?" I asked one of the women.

She just shook is head on me. Seems like none of them saw him. Where could be right now? I was anxious.

Ivan's POV

Liam has informed me that they have spotted an enemy near the dock of where we were heading to.

I did not hesitate and told Liam to close the dock and reinforce the whole area til Shena and the others port.

"I will be back" I reassured her even though I knew that she just wants me out of her sight by then. She nodded after.

As my people prepare the two cabin cruisers, I kept asking for updates on the situation by the dock.

We have now boosted our way to the dock before the actual cruise gets here.

Like usual, something was up.

"Scatter."  I commanded to the others. Liam kept his distance to mine in case they were up to me and not the cruise itself.

A while later someone has shot a trigger.

It's game time. I grinned.

I had 3 opponents at this point. I could tell they have been trained efficiently. But none of these morons are can retrain me.

I aimed two at a time and only had a minor cut by my wrist. I killed two and left one begging to free him.

I gripped his neck and looked over to the logo on his clothing.

Its a uniform. Hah, the logo was so familiar that I knew they were from Trevor's clan.

That dimwit was a very germaphobic person. I still wonder how he became his clan's boss.

"What is your motive to attack?" still griping his neck tight.

"W-we w-were instructed t-to ugh" he  groaned in pain.

"To what?" I said raising him an eyebrow.

"To k-kill... girl-" before he could continue what he was saying, a wandering bullet shot beneath my leg. I started looking over to where I heard the bullet.

Damn it. I was outsmarted. Liam was being pressured amongst morons. By no other than Trevor himself.

"Isn't it faith to see you here, Ivan?" he said pointing out the gun to Liam's head.

The only way I could make them retreat is by... a bomb.

Hah, isn't it a coincidence? I grinned knowing where I have instructed my men to place bombs near red marks.
